actually the web as a whole changed, many sites are unsearchable to google. You're better off using dedicated search on those sites.

ABOUT a year ago I noticed a big change on Jow Forums. I don't know when this happened but about a year ago I noticed it. There used to be many more posts on Jow Forums. I don't know if this was specific boards or website wide. But I noticed that one day it became much easier to locate an OP, or follow it, as it traveled through the list of posts before it got pruned/deleted: [ALL] [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] [10]
You understand what I'm trying to say? It was like over night all of a sudden the amount of post to Jow Forums was halved do it became much easier to find a board before getting deleted. From my user perspective the speed of posts has never returned? Did anyone else notice this? My ideas where a change in software on Jow Forums's part or gov agencies monitoring/curating posts to users (paranoid I know). Did anyone else notice this or have any explanation or even know or understand what I'm trying to explain?

Lately i've been noticing more and more my searches on youtube and google simply don't find what i'm looking for, i can look up the exact title of a website or video and it either wont be displayed or will be much deeper in the results than it should be. On youtube in particular videos get pushed back in favor of major news sites or similar.

It's not just that though, image search used to just match the image itself, now it forces a keyword match that skews everything, probably because they're trying to train an AI to eliminate the white race or something. For example if you're trying to look up if some screenshot was posted somewhere else or something it will force a keyword like "text message" and fuck up the results.

Google is really starting to suck as a search engine. Bing is unironocally better for anything media-based. Google is awful when searching for porn. Pretty much the only thing it's still good for is tech documentation.

The "larger than" x MP options were great for rooting out the highest quality/original size images from all the re-compressed dupes floating around though.
Even now advanced searches are being made difficult. If you use things like inurl etc. you'll soon see a "suspicious traffic from your network" message and a captcha.
The most annoying part is the list of useless questions it constantly brings up.
It's one of the only reasons I still used google's image search.
