>Using Intel

I use a Mac Mini.

Pretty sure you put that fan on the wrong side

Speccy is dumb and can't tell the difference between 4c/8t 7700 and an 8c without hyperthreading 9700k.

Imagine being so brained washed by that chink CEO

I've got some assrock z270 and a 7600k and I'm fine with it desu
just quickly ms paint it into a 9700k

>just quickly ms paint it into a 9700k
I'd rather speccy just fix their shit.

Jordan?

Don't know who that is but he has good taste.

His parents buy him alienware shit, he had a desktop and a 17 R4 or R5. Pretty sure he broke his desktop though.

I7-3930k, 16gb ddr3, EVGA 1080ti SC2, 256ssd, a couple of old hdds, Evga Nu Audio card.

It might as well be abandonware at this point, I doubt it'll get any further updates

But why did you make that mistake in the first place?

>Having a dedicated soundcard after 2010
I hope it was something you didn't pay full price for. Are you autistic or something?

>not having a sound card with balanced connectors
are you poor?

>speccy
>fix
That would require deleting it

i3 2120 and GTX 560Ti

My 4690k build can't be used right now (dead mobo I guess), and this one feels like a POS.

i7-6700k
RX 580
ASUS Z170-A

Very pleased. Been 3 years. Buttery smooth. 4.4Ghz.

Just made due with what you've got.

Why is the IO shroud covered in muck?

h-he's fast!

Ryzen 5 2600
MSI B350 Tomahawk
16 GB
and just replaced my old GTX 760 with an RX 5700

My first machine that I could build/buy completely by myself. Since I'll stick to 1080p, I'm set for plenty of years with it, hopefully.

What's a pc?

Attached: wat.png (760x455, 64K)

Asus x550vx laptop it barely runs games at 720p but it still works

Mac Pro 2,1
Dual Xeon 5150 @ 2.66GHZ 2MB L2 per core
64GB PC2-5300F ECC
1TB HDD, 2x 500GB HDDs in Raid-0, 160GB HDD
Sapphire RX 580 Nitro+ 4GB 1400MHz stock @ 1.1 8X
Monitor 0: Dell 1600x900 (3200x1800 VSR)
Monitor 1: Acer 1680x1050 (2560x1600 VSR)
Windows 10 Pro X64

Upgrade to dual Xeon X5365 soon
What GPU I should get maximum 280W?

Vega 56 is the best price/performance in the current market. GTX 1080 performance if u undervolt it, RTX 2070 performance if ur willing to tinker around with it and heavily overclock it. Best part is u can get it for less than 250 bucks.

whats wrong with z270? Ive had mine a couple of years now and its never had an issue.

>shit motherboard
>i5 8400
>rtx 2060
>16gb ram @ 3700mhz (I think)
>500gb Kingston m.2 nvme ssd
>1tb ssd/hdd hybrid disk

want to upgrade my mobo and cpu
yap

>intel

gigabyte z390 gaming x
9700kf
16gb ballistix sport 3200mhz ram
gtx 1070

going to upgrade the gpu next year.

>9700kf
Did they not have stock of the normal 9700k or did you get a nice discount for getting the kf?

fan is facing the wrong side

The kf is currently 45 bucks cheaper on newegg and I didn't need the igpu.

Fair enough, if they're the same price, i'd stick with the normal K, cause who knows when you might need an iGPU as a backup, but yeah, for almost $50 savings, i'd have gotten the KF too.

I got my 9700k right after launch though, so the KF wasn't even announced yet.

>Xeon E3 1231v3
>Rtx 2080ti
Wanna upgrade my cpu but can't make up my mind as to what platform choose. Might wait for 3950 or see what Intel comes up with next.

intel has a refresh planned for late this year, nothing exciting just some clockspeed increase most likely.

2020 is when 10nm desktop CPUs hit for intel.

So unless you want to wait awhile, 3950x might be a good option.

The absolute state in Incel. Shows that they just glued more cores together instead of actually making new shit

No, it just proves Speccy is a garbage program.

All it sees is 14nm and the base clock ignoring everything else.

7700 is base clock of 3.6 Ghz with 4c/8t.

9700k is base clock of 3.6 Ghz with 8c

The difference being the 7700 has a single core turbo of 4.2Ghz and an all core turbo of 4Ghz

The 9700k however has a single core turbo of 4.9Ghz and an all core turbo of 4.6Ghz

Even if they're both 14nm products, speccy should be able to look at more than just cores/thread count and the process node and base clock to determine what CPU it's looking at.

thanks for the advice. None of them must take more power than my RX 580
