>new pc only comes with hdmi port

HDMI is much more user friendly than VGA

I don't like that.

why do you have five monitors
why don't you just buy an hdmi to vga adapter?

>New PC only comes with HDMI port
So HDMI is outplacing DisplayPort because every normie knows HDMI but most don't know DisplayPort?

>five
>VGA
No video card could ever do that.
>hdmi to vga
Not exactly optimal

I have a hdmi to vga adapter and there's no visual difference between it and just hdmi.

There objectively will be, but you might not notice on a shitty monitor since that holds you back even more

what, it doesn't even have a DVI-I port? What a crock of shit.

This is what macular degeneration looks like.

the corners are always unalligned when you use vga

You're confusing VGA with CRT?

Without adequate overscan it can happen to any display type since it's impractical to have automatic error correction with analog inputs

its 2019 and dvi is not only not obsolete but the superior choice for backwards compatibility

user u have shity monitors

Buy a $60 PCIe gpu

Came here to post this.
Stop with the autism OP

Buy a $5 active converter off aliexpress, you have no picture quality to strive for anyway.

All DVI are digital ports and cannot fit DVI analogue.

Stop trying to use 1024×768 analogue displays from 2006 then

How did you not know this before you bought the PC?

This. Jesus Christ leave your decade + old tech to die

why would you use that over anything digital in 2019? I'm fucking glad VGA is dead

OP you still haven't fucking answered me, why do you have FIVE vga monitors

Ok, Sheldon

1080p input 1080p output. Yes, VGA does support full HD.

>Have five perfectly good VGA monitors
A time traveler from 2005, how exciting!

Not DVI-I and DVI-A.

you dont need adapters
you can use a cable thats vga on one side and hdmi on the other side...

VGA is analog and hdmi is digital.

>VGA
>perfectly good

>VGA monitors
Doesn't it have DVI on it?

I think I might have five VGA monitors sitting in my closet.

t. not OP

umm... the only way to get a single card to render via the same channel is displayport. you could never plug more than one vga device into a single card without displayport.

All modern cards are DVI-D only please look this up next time.

this only works if it is the only vga monitor plugged into the card. you wont be able to render the same channel twice on one card.

You can get an HDMI monitor for like $50 now. Let it go man.

Realistically getting five monitors to work on one card requires $100*5 plus the cost of the many-to-one displayport adapter that is going to be at least another $100.

In analog, which is always a more degraded signal.

Just get DisplayPort then
