try harder
>normal cooling
5ghz
Yes, I want to see that CPU cooled by intel stock cooler.
This is going to be some next level binning.
>5gh
>Boost
Who fucking cares, boost clocks are a fucking meme
you sound salty, regret giving mommy su your neetbux?
>Buying yet ANOTHER 14nm CPU
shiggy
I use Intel, Zen is (somewhat) of a meme due to it's latency, but at least it seems like a path forward over fucking Intel's garbage.
The fuck is the difference from Haswell to Skylake even? No instructions worth noting, power usage isn't even that much lower dispite the shrink, no notable IPC increases. I bought my CPU 5 fucking years ago and I feel like there is still little reason to upgrade.
>42c with a 240mm AIO
is this shit real, that means it has received some kind of upgrade for the soldering or other kind of thermal upgrade compared the regular 9900K
9900K buyers on suicide watch
5ghz boost on ALL cores, it is not the regular 1 core boost.
>unironically thinking the memory latency is an issue
Its still boost you retard, it will hold for like 10 seconds then drop
Next year i9-9900KYS with 6 GHz on all copes
you are actually retarded, look into BIOS settings for Intel boost
stay mad amdrone
Why stop there, up it to 7
>kirsch
YOU LITERALLY CAN'T MAKE THIS SHIT UP
?
i want fewer cores (4) but at 10 gigahertz. get on it jewtel shills.
Those are idle temps, m8.
Great. I'm looking forward to more diseased CPUs.
price?
what, the picture is literally showing the temperature of all the cores at 5 ghz
>normal cooling
>no cooler included
inb4 LN2 is what Intel calls 'normal' cooling now.
But not load.
in b4 nuclear meltdown
you fucking amdrones are just salty, intel can make a 5ghz processor on all cores with no need for extra cooling
do you are have stupid
I find it difficult to believe it won't need special cooling. 10nm cannot have high clocks and Intel has milked 14nm for all it's worth. It just doesn't seem possible. Intel has a long history of lying and misleading marketing. We'll see in time.
>with no need for extra cooling
Literally you need to buy extra cooling for the serie K
9900ks more like 99000kys am i right or am i right?
The 7640k was a laughing stock
>normal industrial cooler
You got that right.
Define "normal cooling"
stock cooling
>Zen is (somewhat) of a meme due to it's latency
You're fucking stupid and have no idea what the "latency" in question actually is or what it means.
Cope
imagine the power consumption
Wtf I gotta buy AMD now
Save the environment one clocklet at a time
I want to believe
>no tdp
>no price
OHNONONNONO
14+++++++++++++++++++++?
>5ghz
>all core
>'normal cooling'
im going to go on a guess here and say theres going to be some catastrophic failures for this cpu
We got so close AMDbros
This
it will be somewhat lower than that, due to (hopefully) better binning and thus lower voltage. you still need a monstrous ("normal" in intel's terms) cooling solution in order to prevent house fires. not even talking about long term reliability here.
>intel thinks $250 clc is normal
lol
so an "industrial chiller" is "normal cooling" for intel?
Fuck off, retard. I have an Ivy Bridge-E setup and won't be upgrading any time soon. It's just painful to see you tech-illiterate retards shitting up this board. Go back to /v/.
Games don't need 5ghz all core. It will barely improve anything.
Normal* cooling
* - not normal
I thought 5GHz was harmful?
based
>MUH ZEN LATENCY BAD OK
>MUH INPUT LAG
l.m.a.o
>muh 1 pagefault
that was Sonarr
kek
lmao, brb shorting intc
what exactly is normal cooling? im pretty sure intel isnt shipping a stock cooler with that thing
not holding my breath kikey
Cool. Too bad I have zero reason to believe anything that Intel says.
According to Intel, normal cooling for them is using freezer coolant.
>* - industrial grade
So Intel was able to do this all along but chose not to do so until AMD lit a fire under their ass?
stay mad lmao
So industrial chillers now count as normal cooling solutions?
Kek
>avx
lel
Those AMD processors aren't doing anywhere near as much work. I doubt you could call that a valid comparison.
at first i thought oh yeah this guy is likely trying to get cs 1.6 running at 400fps on 9900k using 2080ti. Nop, he's a gtx680 trying to play some unreal tournament 2004 with more fps than he had under i3 sandy and complained that ryzen 1700 doesn't do 800fps vs 6700k.
imagine writing this down
This is typical behavior for publicly traded companies.
>NOOOO TDP DOESNT MATTER
>IT'S ALMOST WINTER YOU UNGRATEFUL GOY I AM BUNDLING A HEATER AT NO COST NOOOOOOOOOOO
Another disappointment. It is just a cherry-picked Coffee Lake R die that consumes a little less power then regular 9900K.
9900K has been thoroughly shitted on Zen2 where the extra cores matter and lesser Coffee Lake which are just as fast as gayming for far less $$$$.
If you are /v/tard that cares about "MAH FPS!" go no further than 9700K and get 9400F if you are on a budget.
That person is a bloody idiot who doesn't understand latency in digital computing systems and how it is practically a non-issue outside of clustered computer/HPC stuff.
A complete brainlet who blames the CPU for "latency" when peripherals are the much slower than CPU.
Intel
>Synthetic benchmark are uses to compare processors
Also Intel
>Here are some synthetic benchmarks that proves our processor is better
>42degrees on idle
Yea, "normal cooling" my ass. This shit is going to assplode when you load it.
>normal cooling
And how many gallons of LN2 are in this normal cooler?
>it is practically a non-issue
That is a lot of qualifying statements.
It appears that you are saying that it is an issue but you wish it was not.
what is said tn that post is simple, blatancy has problemsi in clustered computing, this is why ROME is 64core on single CPU. But for majority of people this issue isn't a problem making it a non issue.
Why don't you learn to fucking read you retarded piece of shit?
>5GHZ
Is that with mitigations on or off?
Wait another few months and they'll release the 9900KYS
go back to /v/
Dual CPU Motherboard! 16 cores running at 5Ghz! Hellz yeah!
So none? That's truly revolutionary!
I can clock a 10 year old Pentium to 5ghz
Zen is objectively more efficient, but it doesn't have the 5ghz meme to bring in the memelords
>Buying platform that is at EoL
>Not buying into am4 which is still supported until end of next year
Intel never said normal cooling. Kirsch assumed normal cooling.
I'm sick of people ignoring all of the programs that benefit from faster clock speeds. Use the cpu that works best for your needs stop shilling.
>all cores reach 5ghz for 100ms.
What if you game, record videos of yourself gaming, and then edit those videos?
Fuck nigga that's pretty autistic, I say do whatever the hell you want because your life doesn't have meaning. Here's one of those anime armpits you people seem to love so much.
>that banding on the arm
Absolutely disgusting
>The intlel i9 9900KYS
Ebin!
Comes packed with many yet to be discovered CPU vulnerabilities, for all your privilege escalation needs.
Literal FUD
>The rich corporate entity I dickride is better than the one you buy!
AMD Chads don't care, we're busy living our lives.
Now if you'll excuse me, one post in this thread is more than enough of my time wasted.
An it will only be $2000, goy!
>on all cores
>for 0.75seconds
lol why does power always come up
fucking cheap as shit and that's not thermal draw either so you can't say muh house fire
