>always get the latest Windows >always install the latest updates >enjoy the latest UI changes to whatever website or softwate >new keyboards and mice and other hardware all feel great to me
My only limitation is budget, otherwise I would get all the latest shit. I'm honestly scared of being like those boomers who think CRTs were better, or who complain whenever Facebook updates their layout. I don't even use a mechanical keyboard cause clackers are all boomers to me.
Newer doesn't always mean better m8. Look what happened to Digg the moment they updated their UI. That's not to say newer is always worse but alot of people do find current "new" stuff to be objectively worse than previous working renditions.

It's called being based.

You sound like a teenager. "New" things excite you just on the grounds of being new since you don't have any experience. Once you get older and actually develop your own preferences and reasoning for those preferences, you'll realize how often quality is scarified for "newness." If you're not a teenager, then the other replies are correct, you're just retarded.

>or who complain whenever Facebook updates their layout. absolute that
Jaxon Thompson
What a good consumerist idiot you are
Nicholas Murphy
You're what's propping up the tech industry and the reason tech depreciates 70-80% after 2-3 years.
I've probably save thousands off people like you selling their used shit desu
Carson Ortiz
And that's a good thing.
Dylan Martin
Dont listen to these idiots OP. Anyone who gives you shit for running the latest updates has no idea what the fuck they're talking about.
Dominic James
You have to remember that Jow Forums is mostly neets, thirdworlders from India who use Thinkpads etc and poorfag in their early 20s who shit on everything that isn't the absolute best in price/performance so of course there will be resistant towards people who actually enjoy technology, the focus of the board.
Things have certainly changed a lot in decade, seems most of the oldfags have moved on and been replaced with the above who shit up the board with their muh value brains.
a consumer. not as an insult but in the scope and relevancy you have compared to, say, a scientist who looks to the future of their research and vision. the new hot looking futuristic tech comes out and you gobble it up and await more.

>What's it called when you're anti luddite?
you're a factory owner, and you keep firing the assholes who throw their wooden shoes into the machinery.
Angel Wright
Once you see how it's done from the other side and by who you will most likely reconsider your position. Pretty much everything that ends in plebian hands is utter trash and barely work.

>boomers who think CRTs were better CRTs actually have better contrast and response time.
