pen and paper

pen and paper.

i use keepassXC and LastPass

i keep everything on keepassXC but only share a few of those with LastPass.

based: pen and paper
okay: pass
eh: keepassxc
absolute disgusting: lastpass

i do have my master password for keepassXC on pen and paper tho

Yes

lastpass lets you use Password12345 as your master password

Chrome passwords

btw keepassXC supports TOTP for 2FA so you don't have to use google authenticator

pass is the standard eunuch's password manager

that looks nice but I'm already compiling keepassxc

I might unironically go for pen and paper. I dont trust any password manager.

pen and paper but with invisible spy ink

KeepassX

Imagine being such retarded brainlet, that you can't memorize your random 15-25 character+symbol+digits+non ASCII characters, if allowed, passwords...
t. I have my all 26 passwords stored in my head.

so?

>knowing your passwords

>being mad a company lets you exercise your freedom to be retarded

Keepass + cloud storage.

they don't warn you or anything

>being such a brainlet you can't memorize ten different 15 character passwords

>ten
user..

>not having a base and adding the website name to the password
>base "niggers1onguemyanus"
>google "jewniggers1onguemyanusgle"
>cockmail "cockniggers1onguemyanusmail"
etc

for extra security dont use the full service name so if someone stores your pw in plaintext they dont know what the site identificator is

what a shitty idea

I just use 1 or 2 passwords for everything.
except few services for which I have them memorized, and some services which give password themselves, I just have them written in notes and stuff

Why is that?
Can you suggest an alternative with that little hassle apart from using 1 password for everything?

good to know

>attacker notices you use the same base on every single website
>30 char password becomes a 5-10 char one if you remove the base
>bruteforce
Absolutely retarded. Your base adds nothing to security.

thanks for the (you)

when im important enough to have people dedicate hacking multiple websites(with plaintext passwords), identifying my accounts on said websites and spending time putting the passwords together to get my base i'll probably using a more secure method
you also havent suggested an alternative so im guessing you're acually an ebin hacker trying to shill me into using a less secure password

Nextcloud + password manager
Perfect.

>what are credential dumps
Probably two websites you use will get hacked in the next 4 years, if they weren't already, and people can look at the password dump file, search for your email and correlate two of your passwords to get your base.
It only takes two hacked websites for your password strategy to be useless.
The alternative is using a password manager to have random long passwords on each website.

how does an attacker know which of these are me
website 1- user "gaylord69"
website 2- email "[email protected]"
website 3- email "[email protected]"

Have sex

>he uses cockmail but he doesn't have a @nigge.rs address

Difference calculation on two password dumps to detect which users are using the same password on multiple websites.
Your base will make your password go up on similarity.

are there any terminal password managers? I'm autistic and can't stand GUIs...

People that never used a pw manager don't realize how fucking comfy it is. It relieves you completely of the burden of remembering many unique strong passwords, coming up with new ones and renewing them after X months. At this point I don't want to remember a single password more than necessary myself because it's just a pain in the ass in comparison.

Pass.

passwordstore.org/

so does keepass*

not joking, bitwarden is the best

but pen and paper is based and redpilled
