Eclipse

Eclipse or even better IntelliJ Ultimate

IntelliJ

This. Because IntelliJ is more suited and comfy.
Plus it'll be much easier to use android studio sdk with seamless ability when doing app side.

Not Eclipse.
Eclipse is such a buggy piece of shit and it blows my mind that anyone even uses and/or recommends it.

Also, Java is such a verbose piece of shit language, it blows my mind that anyone even uses and/or recommends it. It is literally the language of the homosexual.

Use C# instead.

C#

>using a fucking ide

If there are no server plugin constraints (websphere, jboss, weblogic, etc..), visual code
If there are and you also plan on interacting with mobile dev work in the same IDE, Intellij
For all other Java use cases, use Eclipse

Whatever Mr. Durga Sir MS Tech. (Icon of Java / Real Time Expert / Weapon of DURGASOFT) recommends .

eclipse then

IntelliJ IDEA

vim

no, Emacs and ctags

this is the only option,sirs
do the needful and listen in class!!!

Eclipse is buggy and slow. Netbeans is buggier and slower. IntelliJ is good but since I prefer to have multiple projects open in one window, I just stick with Eclipse.

??? IntelliJ lets you chose new window or same window for opening projects.
