What if there was a fully functional textmode web browser?
Meaning everything will work from a simple 100% html based text site to complete Facebook envinronment?
With the exception there being no videos or pictures.. But the sites would work and they would truly believe the user of the site sees pictures and video eventhough he doesnt.
The browser would fool the sites. You could even use your own banks site with a text mode browser.
none of those are truly functional, most web sites wont work with those

You want to run JavaScript on a terminal browser?

exactly

That's not the browsers fault. That's the fault of web devs not making sites that work in terminal browsers. Sites with good accessibility practices in development, function better in terminal browsers than the majority of top 500 websites.

so you care only about javascript but explain to my why facebook doesnt work?
> explain to my why t. brainlet that couldn't read the given site that literally says "Pro Works on all sites that Firefox works on" for one of the browsers

I checked out brow.sh, turns out it is shit and requires firefox
It's not a browser, its a hack on firefox It still depends on X Window environment so you cannot use it on Linux with no X based libraries installed
You *do* realize ncurses browsers do exist, right? And thst you should also never use them, as TUIs are shit.

This would be based. It seems possible to do, too. Just throw away all the graphics, make frames into their own “tabs” on a page, and do your best at laying out the content in a way that makes it easy to read in the terminal, ignoring the web designer’s choices about how they want you to see it.

Firefox in the frame buffer hasn’t worked in over a decade.
