Could one of you guys help me download this video please? I've tried everything, tried youtube-dl, tried every online converter there is. It wont download. Keep getting error messages.
The video was just uploaded so I want to download it soon just in case the uploader decides to remove it, which they do all the time for some stupid reason. Thanks.
youtube-dl stopped working for YouTube.com a few hours ago. They changed something on the website, and the application will have to be updated. Their GitHub "Issues" section has already been taken offline because of the many posts coming in. As most downloaders are based off of youtube-dl, we will have to wait until this is fixed.

they just changed something miniscule. it has already been fixed, but you will have to get the latest version from github, its a few minutes old.

2. if it uses cmake do mkdir build; cd build; cmake ..
3. run sudo make install[/make]

Dang, the greasemonkey script I had to add a download button to youtube videos stopped working. I've been using that for years without issue.
user, that's not how you set up a Python program. It's pretty obvious that's a standard setuptools distribution.
If you already have pip, it should probably be enough to do
pip install --upgrade git+github.com
