it was never a volume seller but A/UX did indeed have its share of users in academia and elsewhere. NASA seemed to be a prolific user as well considering they hosted the more popular software repositories/knowledge bases.

Luckily he didn't damage any chips, but even after his "restoration" he didn't replace the other capacitors that will also blow up soon
