Nope, that's not happening

hang outside of a best buy and wait for a dude to drive around in a truck, asking if you need any electronic shit

Used thinkpad.

Way too low brand new but perfect if you're willing to use an eGPU.
Business laptops with like i7 4770MQs in them and the like go for 150 a pop, then you just grab an eGPU setup and run games.
Not "light" gaming, fully functioning gaming for most games depending on the GPU.
Just check the laptop supports eGPUs and you'll be gucci.

You must be 18 or older to post on this website.

Increase your budget by $100 and see if your wallymart has this in stock. Better hurry if they do

Frogposter college kids are the new tranny college kids

fuck off just because your old thread was deleted doesnt mean make a new one but slightly different. we know you're a new fag and think you'll fit in with the 4chins by using wacky funny frogs. die.

why do people like you not google this shit? it's 2019 even your grandmother should be able to google

Buy/build a desktop and keep your homework on a flash drive so you can work on it at a school computer if you want.
>inb4, but I need a laptop for taking notes!
Typing notes is objectively inferior to handwriting them, and if you don't go to a trash school, classes that require a computer will be done in a computer lab.

Buy a console kid

Used PS4 + used Thinkpad

>light gaming
hahahhHAHAHAHAHAH!

More like light GAYming

kys

What the fuck are you talking about?

Because Jow Forums is smarter than google when it comes to tech

>light gaming between $200-$300
Bibby's first semester huh?

okay you're extremely retarded and unable to use search engines to retrieve information you need

you might as well drop out of that college right now

Find a free laptop in a dumpster somewhere and build a 300 dollar desktop

No I just got all the bullshit classes out of the way and I need to be able to compile notes and use decent software

Jow Forums is NOT your personal tech support team or personal consumer review site.

of course it makes no sense pointing out these retarded threads as there's around a hundred each day, just asking hello I need new phone or computer I have little money please tell me to buy computer

Ok sorry to bother you all

take your meds

>classes that require a computer will be done in a computer lab.

How's the weather in 1999?

15-inch Thinkpad **40 have ExpressCard slots

Chip in a little more and get a acer aspire 5.

T430.

$300 max? Bump it up to $500 and look at an Inspiron or G13.

Jow Forums is also not your thigh high faggotstation hugbox corner.

Visit ThinkPad general.

How does it feel going to a for profit diploma mill that can't afford computers for their students?

used x1 carbon 3rd gen 8gb ram model used from ebay

Second hand Asus

Collegoid

not really much at that price point. bump it up to around $800 then you'll have budget options. maybe around holiday season you could grab one around 500-600. but still out of your current price range.

if you're on that tight of a budget your best bet is then buying a cheap, new chromebook, or a used, good in shape older laptop (like a chinkpad or another business line) for school and a used current gen console.

W530 or a model close to that

>Pic unrelated
will be after few semesters

Used thinkpad.
Integrated GPU is all you need for "light gaming"

Do NOT buy used thinkpad, its a Jow Forums meme on the same tier as "install gentoo".

New? Not much if you need anything powerful. A chrome book would probably be ok, if all you need to do is whip up office documents.

If you're willing to go used, you can get pretty solid computers on ebay. Thinkpads, Elitebooks, Zbooks, etc. Pic related cost me around 300 bucks.

Lurk on /tpg/ threads.

he hasn't had a THICCPAD.
poor guy

Based and Thinkpilled.

I pity the fool.

What is so great about them?

Cheap (if bought used), stable, business/old high end Hardware, many ports, easy to repair, decent keyboard.

>light gayming
if you mean Touhou and OsRunescape by this buy anything

You should find good condition ThinkPads with everything like an SSD included for that

Do you find them off ebay or from somewhere else? I'm in Germany.

I purchased a Dell Latitude E6430 with an i7-3740QM and an express card slot for my college needs and never looked back. Got a plug-n-play setup at my dorm and just unplug when I gotta go to class.

Leider nur ebay, haven't found any good deals on other sites

Chromebook with a Stadia subscription.

Used X-line Thinkpads. There is a reason they're the only laptops used by NASA in space. Every other laptop is a fucking meme.

I recommend the x230

Attached: bisthinkpad.jpg (2550x1650, 1.38M)

Because they got a good deal when buying them in bulk? That hardly seems like a selling point, but what ever. Shills gotta shill.

>His laptop isn't space certified

IMAGINE getting scammed this hard

Asus x550vx bought one fore 270 8gb of ram and a 950m

refurbished dell latitude with an nvidia quadro card

it worked for me all the way through college

It's the year 201x, computer labs are still a thing. You would know that if you were smart enough to get in college.

>Leider nur ebay
Thanks. When I google "thinkpad refurbished kaufen" I get a bunch of sites. Is it worth monitoring any of them?

600 at least. Get the ones with ryzen APUs.

I wish i could buy off the truck

just get the smallest cheapest laptop you can for classes, it is going to suck for games even if you get a decent one and then it will be big and heavy
play games on a real computer or you know have sex or something instead

My fatness keeps me from jumping that high.

Contrary to what some posters may believe, this is an extremely high-brow and redpilled comment, and all of us can stand to learn from its masterful technique. 10/10 misdirection.

Thinkpad X230/T430/T530 - All of those are the cheapest thinkpads that have a serviceable iGPU on the Intel chip. You won't be gaming anywhere near high settings, but 3D games will run. For instance, I can run Dirty Rally and Skyrim on my X230 at low settings while getting over 30 FPS.

Igpu is a meme like I said I bought an asus with a 950m under 300
