What is the pay like for programmers? Is it good? How much are you expected to make?
entry level is about 60-200k in burgerland
...
>tfw you grew up checking burgerland salaries and feeling content with your decision only to realize salaries for tech anywhere else are nothing special.
This is accurate. Pay is very good in comparison to pretty much everything else.
faang pay shitloads to make sure that the others don't steal their employees.
What is the price of cars? Are they expensive? How much is it expected to cost?
>meanwhile in germanistan
>60k is top end for a senior dev with years of experience
Depends, usually really good. Even 60k for one person is outstanding, but if you have experience and switch jobs or work your way up you can easily make 100k.
Just hit 70 being at company ~2 years straight out of college. In a low cost of living area.
Job sucks though, want to die daily.
In the USA the pay is quite high, with six figures being somewhat common.
In the rest of the world, the pay is just slightly above average. You can afford a somewhat comfortable lifestyle for your family, but nothing special.
lol, I was going to say your money is worth more than 2x the dollar but I just looked it up and now it is down to
>1 Euro equals 1.11 United States Dollar
haha suck it
Yo brainlet even if it is worth twice as much as dollar they still gotta buy things in their country with it.
>meanwhile Europoors
The question is entirely meaningless.
Unless you say where you are and what your education and/or work experience is, the question can't be answered.
elaborate
what exactly do german senior devs do?
In a low cost of living area in the U.S. I was making 80k with only a two year math degree. Not currently working. Living off saving and finishing a four year.
Remote jobs pay just as good
You could live in europe but make burgerland salary by working remotely
How to get paid customers?
> working remotely
Lol no, companies dont want to bother. It's more legal problem and they want you to be at location. If you could work remotely that easily then nobody would move to LA
The same thing as american devs, or better. But get paid much less. Programming is only a high pay job in the USA
They are trying to lower programmer wages even further in germany by pushing the "kids need to learn how2code in kindergarden" meme
