I disagree. It feels faster than garbage phones, sure, but on an Android phone priced comparably to an iPhone I notice absolutely no difference. If anything I think my OnePlus 7 Pro personal phone actually feels much snappier and smoother than my company issued iPhone XS Max. I suspect when I have to turn in the XS Max and pick up my iPhone 11 (boss is an apple zealot to the extreme, company issues the newest base model macbook and best iPhone for all company work and all software is proprietary macshit)

Some of this doesn't make much sense. Apple implementing 64-bit word size on their processors doesn't account for performance gains, 64-bit operations are inherently slower than 32-bit. This is why you see things like JS (which by standard defaults to using 32-bit floating point numbers for all operations) being faster than code that's compiled for x86_64 and uses QWORD size arithmetic unless specified otherwise.

well they claim their image processing takes lots of power since for example to take photos it stitches together 8 different photos to create a highly detailed one and the 4k 60fps does something similar from what I understand (120fps where it stitches shit to end up with better 4k 60fps)
