help me
Help me
Oof
And I thought my internet was slow...
Next week I'm going from 5 down and less than 1 up
to 67 down and 18 up
I've been in the slow lane for so long, all my internet habits have been built around it. I honestly have no idea what I'm going to do with the new speeds.
Same here Jow Forumsro
Only recently I convinced the provider to bump my speed from 10 Mbs to 15 Mbs after like 5 years
I live in a Polish countryside so no wonder the speeds
Supposedly they're gonna finish setting up a fiber line along with the local beltway So that will be pretty ebin
I pirate a lot of shit so each single download is a little ritual with a celebration. Getting stuff in a matter of minutes maybe will finally let me get on that data hoarding business and I'll make an archive of vidya in case Nintendo sues another romsite
>help me
HA HA
No.
I'm really confused right now
Well that's still not enough for 8k or 4k HDR.
speedtest thread?
gigabit (1000d/35u) cumcast over 5ghz wifi
not bad all things considered
over speedtest.
Your connection is bad and you should feel bad.
post your nigger
Damn it feels good to be not poor.
i don't even know what those are
>paying for 1000
>getting 350
is this common in America?
why haven't you revolted against your corporations yet?
Companies sell you up to**** in the US and unless nobody in town is online you never get your advertised speed because they oversell bandwith by an order of magnitude and figure most people won't check. But your contract definitely makes it legal, so you just have to suck it up or not have internet at all.
fucking hell
He said it's over 5ghz wifi, don't be a retard user
move to Korea
Pretty decent considering it's a remote German town in Southern Brazil
i can't imagine having less than 1gb/s in download
Sure you can, because every single client device you actually use likely has a 1gbps NIC.
do you know hitler
>1gbps NIC
I run a fiber optic cable with SPF+ at both end between my router and my 10gb/s network card (Intel X520-DA2). I run Windows 10 on a SSD 970 PRO NVMe with a i9 9900k and 32gb ram
Lmao, you're one of the only ones and you know it.
user asking the important questions
does 5ghz reduce speed? what's the point of it then?
Indeed, it's been made avaible only six months ago
compared to fucking wired? Of course.
Compared to 2.4Ghz wifi? It's much faster.
5ghz wifi CAN do 1gbps, but it requires a 3x3 or 4x4 access point, and a 3x3 or 4x4 client device, and you need to use DFS channels and shit like that.
Most cell phones and laptops have 1x1 or 2x2 wifi cards, and will be hard pressed to ever hit more than ~400-500mbps over wifi.
Use a vpn
So for what are you using it? And how much do you pay?
>client bell canada
>server bell canada
Yeah of course
>another autistic hoarder
your collection will never amount to anything, it will be forever useless, do something useful with your money instead of buying piles of hard drives.
40€/months and it's usefull when downloading heavy files like 4K HDR iso bluray movies and tv shows (one season in 4K HDR is usally around 200go), multi download and for low latency distant access
I also have a NAS connected in fiber optic cable with 1gb/s capability
Stop projecting, faggot
Autistic hoarder going through a reality check?
