Best 24-25" 1080p 144Hz 1ms monitor?

Hey there Jow Forums

Please help me find THE PERFECT 1080p gaming monitor.

Specs I'm looking for:

- 1080p (cuz I'm a frame/sec addict)
- 24-25"
- 144Hz+
- 1-2 ms response
- Freesync (with G-Sync compatibility preferred)

- not being plagued by:
backlight bleeding
ghosting
slow response
any similar problem as above

Preferably below €270 / $300, but I don't mind spending a bit more for a really good screen.

Not so important:

- brand (if the model itself is great)
- color accuracy (unless it's really bad)
- panel type (a quality TN is really fine)

Pic somewhat related, it's the AOC G2590, it's said to be a great budget monitor, but as I've heard it's not that responsive and I really want the best model in my budget range.

Also, a friend of mine recently offered me his used BenQ XL2411 for €90/$100.

It's said to be a great monitor, but it lacks any SYNC feature and I don't want any screen tearing or other anomaly that interrupts perfect gaming experience, although I'll aim for a high-end GPU as well, to maintain FPS numbers above 100 with in-game settings of given games. (I'm not really interested in 1440p and definitely not in 4k.)

Please help me, there are so many monitors to choose from that I'm practically clueless.

i'm in the same boat... i've heard good things about MAG241C by MSI. it‘s curved, however.

other than that, probably something by LG.

also, 90e for that Zowie is a steal.

>1ms with no ghosting
>monitor
You can only choose one (or buy a CRT)

Hey man, I know the XL2411 worths the price it's being offered for. However I'm not sure the lack of Freesync wouldn't turn me off in the long run. Do you have any experience with Freesync/G-sync and the lack of them?

Probably using V-sync and/or in-game FPS limiter solves the problem of possible screen tearing?

Literally didn't exist until this year, you're in luck. The 24G2U is releasing later this year

>24G2U
>IPS
>claims 1ms
so it's 2-3ms without horrible overshoot right?

>1080p in 20-fucking-19
what's it like being a pixelet?

4K is a meme remember?

>ЛOC
How the fuck is that supposed to be pronounced?

I don't know, all I'm saying is if you were looking for a 24" high refresh rate IPS panel before now you were shit out of luck. That's literally the only option you have.

OP specifically says a decent TN panel is fine.

>t. happy merchant

If frames/second is all you care about why not get a 1366x768 monitor? You're already limiting your desktop space with 1080p, might as well go all the way so you can render 200 frames per second that your monitor can't display and your eyes can't see.

Looks great. Would you consider this to be really much better than the G2590? (Apart from being IPS.)

Also, what experience do you have with G2590, mate?

Feel free to link me a HD Ready monitor with 240 Hz refresh rate, and I'm game.

The merchants probably make more money off people buying outdated panels at premium prices than they do selling a modern panel at not so premium prices
Hell why spend $250 on a 144hz 1080p panel when $500 4k 120hz monitors are just around the corner

>Also, what experience do you have with G2590, mate?
Fuck all sorry, I've been using some shitty Philips 75hz panel for the past three years and was looking to upgrade to a 1080p panel that preferably didn't have shit colours, pixel density or refresh rate. I've been waiting for over a year now.

more like 6-8ms in reality, response time are never true

They really are driving those TN panels to hell to try to keep them competitive

and the tests are gray to gray, in black to white you can add 5-10ms, so the 1ms turns into 6-12ms in reality, if you are lucky

I've also read the AOC G2460PF is a great monitor as well.
But I prefer the colors of the G2590:

Why? Beacause modern games still cant be played at 4k 120+fps, and paying extra to have a smoother 120hz mouse pointer on the desktop is silly.

High PPI 4k looks fucking great, but overall it still isnt worth it for gaming unless you play turn based 4x or similar.

If you actually care about framerate/refresh then 1080p is still the way to go. Even 1440 is still pushing it for modern games on modern hardware.

>frames/sec is important
>g-sync/freesync

user you are low iq

Getting higher FPS than your monitor can handle also leads to screen tearing you uneducated moron.

Literal poocel.
At high refresh there virtually no tearing anyway

>virtually no tearing

Looking to upgrade my monitor as well with a 2070 super, looking at an Asus mg278q, anyone have one of these able to chime in? Ultimately looking for 2k Resoulution at 27 inch and 144hz

>1080p in 2019
>Perfect
Yikes

I found that brightness is absolutely the most important thing when using a gaming monitor

The irony is only HDTVs have the desired brightness.

I'm talking about the raw quantity of light coming from the backlight

I've never needed to use 100% brightness on any monitor ever so what's the point? You'll just burn your eyes out

VIOTEK GN27DB 27-Inc

Its 289 and it is 1440p 144hz with FreeSync. Its curved as well

500 nits or GTFO

I'll definitely never buy a curved monitor in my life.

Is this true? Is it impossible to get 1440p or 4k displays without dead pixels?

Is this ЛOCC?

stay away from curved and ultrawide monitors at all costs. you will regret it

Does anyone do a 30"+ 144z ultra wide x1080p or x1440p with 1ms yet?

Everything is just 4k meme, high gtg ms or costs 2 bag for 2/3ms

LG has a x1600p one on the way.

LG 38GL950G

I bought a 24” acer at a yardsale for $5. Works fine for what I do.

Cheers I'll keep my eye out

You don't need freesync/g-sync or even v-sync just get a good gpu that goes 100hz+

God I want to give that girl oral sex for hours.
