It's not System size, it's System partition size. There's that retarded Linux mentalilty that everything should be a fucking partition, now we have phones with nearly a hundred of partitions. You can resize it in twrp via terminal, probably will require a clean flash.

for mine , the /system partition is 1.4GiB in size, and 855MiB in use, i don't actually know what the screenshot is adding up
