They cost a lot and rarely work well.
There's your redpill nigger.

I've used cheap shits (

Worse than regular earbuds but more convenient especially for exercise. I have true wireless™ earbuds for lifting.

They're good for running and lying in bed.
Galaxy Buds are pretty good and cheap, they sound better than the more expensive Bose soundsport earphone I was using previously.

If you don't intend to be active while using them and just want music while at your desk or on a plane they're kind of unnecessary.

They're useful for situations like
>gym
>running for the purpose of entertainment and exercise, I do not recommend listening to music while running in a save-your-life scenario
>commute in public transport
Since in all of the aforementioned cases due to background noise you're not going to enjoy the high-fidelity audio a pair of wired earbuds is going to provide but you're going to benefit from their wireless-ness since snagging cable on other people/equipment/your own clothes is a real risk.

There's your redpill.

also worth noting true-wireless earphones feel better for running than bluetooth earphones.
Even if your bluetooth earphones come with a clip, they will always feel heavier and more restrictive than true-wireless when exercising.

they sound like shit compared to wired in the same price range and the batteries never last as long as claimed. but worth it for freedom from wires.

redpill me on lag. can you watch videos and not have the sound behind for half a second?

They're not good in bed for anybody who lays their head to the side, sorry. You need extremely tiny in-ears, and only wired are that small.

Just run the cord under a shirt, problem solved.

the battery life is shit. the J labs I used managed 2-3 hours at best. The sound was over-produced.

Neurotic mentally ill autists on Jow Forums who were neglected as children and who have no friends as adults hate them with a seething passion.

I work in a skilled trade where I'm able to complete my work alone with no hazards/other machinery around my working area so I'll pop one in my left ear and get to work. I bought a couple different chinese pairs on amazon and for each respective brand, a fully charged earbud will last me 5h. Then I charge it for 30-45 minutes at lunch, and itll have enough charge to last me the rest of the shift (3-5h). They're also very convenient for calling someone and talking to them while you're working with both hands, so you can complete a task while coordinating with someone on the other floor/end of a conduit run. The only complaint I have is some brands have that slippery sleek plastic for the charging case shell so sometimes it can slip out of your hand and fall on a hard tile/concrete floor if you're not careful. I wrapped mine with electrical tape in some areas to give the case more "grip". Some cases have a large enough battery bank with enough amperage to act as a "portable charger" so you can charge up your phone a little bit with the earbud charging case.

Super convenient stuff, in my stupid dumb tradie scum opinion

When you want to talk to yourself in public they're a heaven sent. Who is crazy now, bitch? i am just talking to my friends.. who live in my head.

I got new anker's model because I was tired of jizzing on the wires of my headphones. Whenever I'm about to nut I stand up and I aim it at the toilette paper prepared in advance and every fucking time that wire dangles right infront of the hot glue stream. Not even wiping it with pure alcohol later helps with the feeling that you've jizzed on your gear.
Now I don't have this problem anymore.
Oh and quality is fine, unless somebody uses WiFi near them, then it gets shitty.
Batteries last well over 3 hours.

You can, BT 5.0 ones don't have any noticeable latency for media playback.

you can literally only use a single one

>using headphones for porn
is that so mommy doesn't hear?

this. you want the kind with the receiver in the wire that hangs around your neck. You don't want the wireless receiver in you ear canal that's literally asking for it.

Jabra 65t elite. Love them. First wireless earbuds. Sound pretty good. Gonna buy new 75t when they come out next month. Sony and Sennheiser are probably the best premium buds. Watch Flossy Carter on YouTube. Love mine for daily commute.

Bluetooth devices must operate within line of sight, so depending the quality of your headphones, you may experience instances where your phone is in your pocket and you lose connection.

And what if I regularly switch sides before sleeping?

I'm not even being anal, this is reality.

My Jabras have excellent connection.

Biggest innovation since hi-res screens. The only downside is shitty battery life for the small ones.

Chink stuff is cheap as fuck.

That's BT4. BT 5 has stupidly good range and doesn't care about walls any more than wifi.

Battery life is not that bad for most and only getting better. Most last over 5 hours and some even longer. Charging case often quick charge and will hold two charges.

It's bitches like you that have ruined the potential of stereo music.

they have a builtin white noise generator

5h is fucking horrible though.

range is at the expense of data rate

redpill me on aptx

>5h is fucking horrible though.

No, it’s not. How often do you have headphones on for 5 hours at a time? I don’t. They work for me. If you do, wireless probably isn’t for you.

Supposedly better sound quality but I dunno.

youtube.com/watch?v=PWqwQPcp3o8&t=149s

They're excellent if you got AirPods with an iPhone.

Everything else is half-assed garbage that works on a prayer because you're an Android contrarian.

It is though
I bought $20 chinese earbuds from amazon maybe 2 years ago and I sometimes fall asleep with them playing music
wake up almost 8 hours later and they were still on and playing, hell sometimes it would let me go to 10 hours
5 hours isn't has horrible but it's still bad compared to literallywho brands on amazon
amazon.com/SoundPEATS-Bluetooth-Headphones-Sweatproof-Earphones/dp/B074THH5Q2/

Downsides
>Batteries that over time wont hold much charge and you'll have to buy new earbuds
>Charging
>Sound quality ratio to price
>Potential brain cancer

Pros
>Comfy as fk in crowded places like the bus or train where you can't move around easily
>No cord fuckery, breakage when being active like working out in the gym

>If you are very active then wireless can be nice to have but if not then there is no point

Nice bait. AirPods not only look fucking stupid but sound like shit. Apple zombies love them because they work well with Apple phones.

I have galaxy buds, they're great. I bought cheaper (45 dollar) loop wireless earbuds but they broke after about a year. Really great for the gym, hands free talking

Some do last more than 5 hours. That’s more than long enough for most. Obviously not for people that sleep with the damn things on.

Haven't noticed the quality dropping at "normal" range aka. around my (relatively large) apartment. If you have a huge house and want to listen to music in the basement while the device is on the roof, it might cause issues but I doubt that's a typical scenario.

Like all the time when I work? And hell, I haven't even traveled with them yet. Even most short flights take longer if you include the ride to the airport, the wait and so on.

>wireless probably isn’t for you.
Why it is, the battery life is obviously a flaw but the lack of wires is just too good to pass. I'll probably get another pair to deal with it tbqh.

Several brands last longer. I said that as well.

Or.. Just use regular ones.

Have you used the old galaxy wired earbuds before? The ones that used to come with Galaxy devices?
These ones specifically
I've been thinking of getting the Galaxy Buds because these wired ones are an absolute perfect fit for my ears and just want to know if anyone could compare

Attached: serveimage.jpg (500x500, 16K)

I have some Sony midrange ones I got for about 70 cad$ but I had 50$ off. They are the type with a cord connecting the 2 ends, which I prefer. They last about 8 ours of actual use, and they haven't gotten worse after about a year so far.
Sound is about the same as 30 wired. I hate wearing in ear headphones because the cord gets caught and they fall out, with these I have no problem and I like to drape them on my shoulder when not in use.

10/10 great for when your not home where your Sennheiser lives.

The options are pretty limited (literally AirPods or variations of clones) if you don't want the nasty shit pocking into your ear canal or huge ones. If anything the 5h is a pretty optimistic scenario and they will only last this long for the first months.

I just posted above link. Sorry wireless earbuds don’t last 30 hours for you. Holy fuck, I give up with you.

>digitaltrends.com/home-theater/jabra-elite-75t-true-wireless-earbuds/
>200 bucks
Yikes, I can buy 10 ChinkPods for this much and get 40h.

download soundbrenner and tweak latency from there

>sound like shit
yeah okay

not sorry I don't listen to such sophisticated FLACs of dadrock on my shitty moto droid like you

Attached: 1546944696122.gif (88x128, 103K)

/besides data rate, the signal is being amplified and further reduces battery life with range

There is not point furthering 'range'

$30 Amazon buds sound like Sennheisers compared to AirPods. They offer very little in noise reduction due to the way they fit, or don’t fit in your ear.

even BT 4.0 / 4.1 is pretty low in latency that is only distinguishable if you use dual-audio mode which is a very rare scenario

They sound shit if you listen to anything other than hip hop, rap or other modern trash. And I'm not a bigger so guess what, they sound like shit.
If you wanna listen to Mozart or Stephen Wolf of anything inbetween 20$ Wally world head phones litteraly sound better.

>what are radio frequencies
dumb animeposters

igger*

>dont use individual ones
>dont buy cheap crap dont get the bulky ones, you cant wear them with a hat in winter

Bought some jbl some time back and used them for comute with my bike. The reason i switched to them is because they reduce street noise a lot better than other headsets.
Because sometimes you need to remove them so that you can comunicate or listen to your suroundings its very usefull when they are attached to one another by a cord, so you can pull one out very fast without the risk of dropping them

WHY CANT I WRITE NIGGER
FUK

Haven't tried much Mozart but at least Beethoven symphonies and concertos sound perfectly fine on ChinkPods which are about the same quality. Hip hop actually suffers the most on EarPods/AirPods due the weak bass.

I listen to Classical, grunge and rock. And the best in ear i have ever used were made by senheiser and were about 30$ us, that's what I recommend for not wireless

>Even most short flights take longer if you include the ride to the airport, the wait and so on
You can use bluetooth headphones for that, I only use my Galaxy Buds during excersie, when walking, during my commute, etc. while my bluetooth headphones are used while on my computer, during flights and you get the picture. Battery life on BT headphones is generally >15hrs so it's a non-issue.

Actually just tried a few Mozart pieces and it was unironically worse than Beethoven. Mendelssohns 4th doesn't sound great either. But Bach, Sibelius and Brahms are all fine. Very confusing findings.

Though the worse sound is still easy of set by the ridiculous comfort when you don't have to think about wires.

Do these new earbuds work with old Bluetooth devices that have Bluetooth 2.1+EDR ?

Doesn't it kinda kill the benefits though? For me a great plus from wireless buds is that I forget about them. With large headphones, the lack of wire just doesn't sound like such a great deal since you'll always notice that huge thing on your head.

I would highly recommend against doing that unless you really don't care about 1000-5000ms delay (aka don't plan on watching videos and just listening to music)

I know they're probably safe but I'm pretty weary of having li-ions in my ear canals.

Any good True Wireless ones from China that you would recommend? I don't really want a wire around my neck.

I used to have airpods, but the microphone on one started sending static, so I got them both replaced. I was in the process of selling my iphone, so i just never wore the airpods except to test and sold them.

The lack of a wire is a big deal, since I don't have to worry about a wire getting in the way. I can stand up and move without taking them off, I can move into any position without worrying about the wire pulling or getting tangled, I can store them away with ease in my bag, don't need to plug them in when needed, etc. You do forget about them if you're on a 1+ hour flight while watching a movie or sitting at your desk listening to music.

Unless you fall asleep in them there is zero risk. They take a while to explode and get hot first, then start expanding. Leaves you with enough time to pull em out, yell ALLAHU AKBAR and throw them at someone.

Not him but I'm very happy with my i1000 (15-25 euros). If you're willing to spend more (50-60) there are some clones that are almost 1-1 with the H1 chip and all. Now if you want something that actually sounds better than AirPods, it's a bit more tricky due the amount of options.

youtube.com/watch?v=Wsg05Kdw1N8&t=4s

Yeah it's for music, I have a thing that's 1/3 of the size of a modern smartphone and I use it for fitness activities because it's small and very durable.

But will it work? Have you tried?

...? It seems to be a metronome app. How is this useful?

For sure the artist makes a big difference, idk why but some are only good on good headphones. My new Sennheiser over ears make Tchaikovsky so much better.

But for sure if wires get in your way I'd sacrifice quality for convenience, I spend most of my days doing maintenance on armoured vehicles so I don't listen to music away from home except my car(radio) and the gym.( Only time I use wireless)
Every one is different

Attached: IMG_20190903_121342.jpg (2736x3648, 1.61M)

Don't do this. You'll get audio quality equivalent of playing music through a phone. I've tried.

Good enough for podcasts tho?
Did you try it with good quality old shit like iShit or Sony?

Do you want to risk some cheap chink lipo battery going off like a bomb down your fucking earhole?

That can happen even with expensive batteries. Fug.

They seem pretty good, and the price is not bad, but that guy liked them a little bit too much. His only flaw he found was "a lid makes it harder to reach from all angles".

Agreed, but if you watch some of his other videos, he seems to be a bit of an audiophile and will nitpick just to nitpick.

buddy, Galaxy Buds shit on Airpods even if you have an iphone

>>running for the purpose of entertainment and exercise, I do not recommend listening to music while running in a save-your-life scenario
was this necessary?

Thanks! What brands did you get?

*charges my headphones*
just kidding i would never

>buy this for a buck on ali
>plug in my headphones
>can keep phone in bag
>battery doesn't last me a day

meh

> skilled trade
t. day laborer competing with mexicans for unemployment

at least get one of the bluetooth headsets that rests on your neck so you dont lose your earbuds every time one falls out

"true wireless" uses your skull as the "wire"
no thanks

Not that user, but in the same boat and he's spot-on. I personally use the 't1' model from QCY.
I have my left paired to my laptop and my right to my phone so I can just pull out the one I want to use first then once it's paired I'll pull out the other that syncs to the first. It's surprisingly handy. My phone is an audiobook machine at work and I don't have to fiddle with bluetooth settings to switch it up for other media on the laptop.
5-6 hour charge in the bud and if you just drop in the dock for a minute here and there it'll never die on you. I charge the dock once a week and it's never died on me so I don't know how deep it goes. Also the ones I use don't exactly have niggerbass, but the bass is at least present, which surprised me. Better than a lot of wired earbuds I've used.
