Eclipse.

Visual Studio

I like how it handles flutter

Not OP, I’ve used all 3 of these, and I can confirm that Android studio is the slowest piece of shit alive.

Visual studio is for the most part fast except when debugging.

Gradle is being too fast now for a simple hello world.

LabVIEW

>taking the time and effort to do that

Visual Studio.
I used it for vb.net , it's so slow on my hdd it's very annoying to use , it's also fucking glitched up belive it or not , giving errors that don't exist , or putting the entire code as an error ... Which is just fuckin awsome when you're trying to build a cs:go cheat and it's probably buggy itself.

It really sucks , cuz i like visual studio.

Emacs.

What kind of CPU you using? An 8086?

Yep it's the slowest

Eclipse with Android plugins

Looks kino as fuck

Every Java based IDE is a piece of shit until you configure them. The default JVM settings are awful.

Visual Studio.

It chokes more than ur mom OP.

XCode is effectively slower due to instability

Atom

does it matter, I haven't played with android dev much but as I understand it android studio is the only game in town for android development, so they can be as slow, buggy and shitty as they want

B-but flutter is slow and retarded. :(

This. When working on a large application, even moving VIs around the schematic starts to lag really badly

IntelliJ Idea

>not using a modern IDE with modern hardware

Eight Megabytes And Constantly Swapping

Eh, that one is really quite fast. What are you even doing?

I admit I haven't used android studio but this shit right here is beyond fucked up. No wonder all the c-tards here use vim/emacs + gcc

It's no fast on a consumer computer at all, it's laggy as hell just trying to browse a large folder. Have you only used it at work?

I use that shit all the time without any performance issues.

No, I actually used it more at home than at work. Works no problem. It's not even a particularly good computer, the gaymen threads would for the most part not be interested.

How large is your large folder, hundreds of millions or billions of entries? Because I think I did occasionally browse a folder with a few hundred thousand to maybe a million or so entries and noticed nothing vs the external file manager or such.

Xcode is worse in every possible way

this is the fastest one unless you have shit like resharper installed

lol this. VS is dogshit

VS Code any good?
I just use vim and gcc, never bothered with an IDE.

There isn't one.

LITERALLY anything by jetbrains

I am, use it docked ... When I forget to close VS and chrome before launching dota - the PC crashes 10min latet

Not an IDE, but still manages to run worse then VS

Not the codeblocks guy but yes VS code is good

If you disable half the shit JetBrains adds by default they can become usable.

play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aide.ui

That was easy.

AS is fine for Flutter in my experience.

have you used eclipse cdt?

I worked with LabVIEW daily a year ago to write space simulation stuff using their Control Toolkit. The newer versions (2017 onwards) are way better now.

Dev C++ is a travesty

Yeah VS Code is pretty rad imho. I use that mostly

it works ok

Looking at an obvious meme
"Lol vs is shit"
Go back to swift programming you troglodyte.

nigga that shit can run nicely on my decade old [email protected].

Get an SSD. Secondly, switch to C#. VB had it's time.

I have to say that Visual studio runs smoothly, but it takes ages to compile and run. I know my pc is shit but still..

b-but it's quick and compact... I kinda like it.

Anything Google is involved in is complete shit.
