I was never even looking for that connection, it's just something that is impossible to miss when dealing with the linux community long enough.
Pedo's, like other sexual deviants (think furries or even regular sex starved teenagers) cannot keep quiet about their desires. They will post pictures of kids in suggestive poses, anime or real, making jokes that are barely jokes anymore, or blatantly talking about it and defending it.
