Is there a way to install Linux on an arm-based Chromebook? I'm not talking about shit like crouton, I mean actually replacing chromeOS with Linux.

GalliumOS has what you need. Overwrite ChromeOS.

Is touchscreen supported on this OS?

Yeah. Crapbooks usually have little switches inside them to turn off write protection so you can overwrite the OS.

Install Gentoo

So Linux supports arm based processors?

Yeah, armhfs

>What is raspberrypi

It's literally just chromeOS without Google. Just like chromium is chrome minus most google botnet.

That's not what it is at all. It's not related to the ChromiumOS project, at least it wasn't the last time I used it.

ChromeOS already contains Linux.

Yes, cool distros like Debian support about 30 different architectures.

>chromeos
>based on gentoo
>gentoo linux
retard

linux software runs on glib android not.

I thought it was just a fork of chromiumOS? I didn't fall for the ARM meme so I don't know.

Doesn't Raspberry Pi run on an ARM structure?

Are you able to install Debian PIXEL onto it?

galliumOS is literally full Linux but using the ChromeOS kernel for compatibility.

There's tons of arm ports????

>what is google
>what even is a raspberry pi

nigga you can install arch on a phone. A chromebook should be no problem.

or arch linux with the gallium patches

gentoo is the only stable distro that supports arm atm.
