Isn't that Mavericks?

I mean... you're not wrong. Support is long gone though. A lot of apps won't work anymore.

This, as a former Mac user. Mavericks was the most stable MacOS release ever and I’ve been a Mac guy since the PowerPC era.

No, that was Snow Leopard

>implying 7 was better than XP

Snow Leopard had tons of bugs, especially being a dual-architecture system. I had Snow Leopard on my iBook G4 and PowerMac G5 (and the equivalent server version on my Xserve G5). It sucked until PPC was dead.

7 was better than xp lmao

It's funny how people always say a different version of OS X/macOS was the most stable.

In truth they're all pretty solid, it just depends on the other software you use on them.
For years audio producers would stay on Snow Leopard because they were terrified some plugin or some weird version of Logic would stop working. This doesn't really happen anymore, Mojave works fantastically with every piece of pro audio software and hardware out there.
That said, I've been receiving emails from audio companies over the past week saying "don't upgrade to Catalina yet!", but this is pretty normal these days, and within a month or two they'll have their shit together.

>macshit
Found your problem.

>It's funny how people always say a different version of OS X/macOS was the most stable.

In truth, they're all steaming heaps of shit, like everything Apple sharts out.

I've heard this story, but zero reports of it in the real world.
I've been using a T2 Macbook Pro since they came out with multiple USB audio devices, no issues whatsoever.

>I've heard of toilets, but zero reports of people using them in my country.
>I've been using a designated shitting street since forever, no issues whatsoever.

Keyboard backlight control.

not a macfag but it looks like something that would either decrease/increase the light of the display or increase/decrease the backlighting of the keyboard or some shit

Thanks desu

That was Leopard, you fool. Snow Leopard was x86 only.

It's windows 10 if 10 was good

Man, I miss Mavericks so much, if only because it was the last version before they shat all over the soulful UI that had somehow managed to hang on.

It's tough finding cracked versions for Mac sometimes

boomer

It's easy, the tough problem is compatibility. Soundtoys' stuff only work on Capitan and there's not an cracked update for newer versions.

Let me hear the music you make then

That's exactly what I'm talking about, there's always the latest version for windows while I can only find a version from 2009 for Mac

This

Why are you quoting yourself Andjeet?

As a mac user I don't get this meme. High Sierra has not once hanged or crashed on me.

that was El Captain
