I have been reading the CEH book and I don't see it mentioning the Darknet yet the Darknet is known for its hackers. How do you use Tor/I2P to run hacks? Does Tor or I2P allow you to use a port scanner?

I would use Tor or I2P not a VPN. I didn't know you could do that though.

TOR is both a way to onion route connections to the clearnet, and a way to host untraceable online services on the “darknet”. You can nmap via TOR, but it’s better to buy a VPS via tor and run scans and tools off that because of speed and IP blocking issues. I2P is simply a “darknet” and you can’t access the broader internet from I2P, the other person who suggested you can run hacks through it that affect anything off the I2P network is misinformed.

That's why we put the suspect under surveillance a few weeks, Microphone, Screen capture, Facecam, phones etc. There you will se if the person is doing the crime or is just "hacked"

About your question, you will get put on a "list" pretty fast but that doesn't mean shit. We don't operate by going through those "lists" we operate if there's a legal complain and hard data. We are not here to prevent we are here to get people behind bars after they have done a crime. Honeypot's are mostly in non hacking related cases used (Pornographie and Movie streaming). As long as you don't attack legal persons you're fine, and trust me leave out ANY gov services / sites. If you have a Bug report and it gets ignored don't fucking put it on sale.

You setup proxychains in your Linux distro of choice for hacking and configure it to use tor. Which it does by default iirc.
