I see you are making a case for solving dependency hells, nice work.
reminder that ubuntu just works
Silverblue justwerks more than anything else because it's literally impossible to break it once you have one working configuration and is very easy to setup. Guix and Nix are the same, but their installation is not nearly as easy.
innovation doesn't happen in Linux because it violates Unix philosophy. a obscure properitary OS from the 1960's world view shapes Linux today.
silverblue needs more time, I think youre also forgetting oS kubic.
no reason to use them on a home desktop, lutris isn't working yet; laptops I guess, sure
fedora silverblue is awesome, once the nvidia driver installation is less annoying i'll be using it full time.
silverblue sounds so restrictive
>lutris isn't working yet
Imagine this being your priority lmao.

the world is burning and I'm too poor to do coke so I need something
>the world is burning
get some friends, seriously
but user i'm too busy trying to create a configuration.nix file to go outside
Why would I want to leave dependency hell when I could be running Arch?
If you used Guix you would've been done in an hour tops.
i literally never heard of gobolinux. who came up with that shit name?
Guix and Nix require about the same effort.
Unless you want proprietary divers.
>hobolinux
Sure if you're unemployed
Silverblue is awesome though
Linux gives zero fucks how you solve your dependency problems, it's just a dumb kernel
Can I effectively and relatively easy install amdgpu-pro drivers in it?
I want in nixos
but nixpkgs doesn't have rtl_wifi_new extended branch
Am I gonna be okay?
why would i go silverblue over just fedora?
>Do one thing and do it right
How does this prevent innovation?
>1960s
Calculus was discovered in the XVI century and it lets planes fly today. It just proves the "ideology" works just fine
