As fellow "techies", how does Jow Forums deal with being of higher intellect than your peers?
I'm an 18 year old Software Engineer, still in high school. While I'm building my very own GNU/Linux Distribution BY MYSELF, the people who I am forced to call my "equals" are too busy drinking, having sex, playing the newest video games on their Windows Laptops and Macbooks, and failing all of their college entry exams. I, on the other hand, am already accepted into MIT's honors program for my incredible work on the GNU/Linux kernal. My issue comes into play when I have to, eugh, "interact" with these buffoons. My school what they refer to as a Coding class, and the other kids don't even know the difference between Debian and Ubuntu. How am I supposed to deal with people like these?

In college, the best way is to simply shut up, smile, and nod.
Be prepared to be disappointed. Your team members will be retards, and a whole lot of ego-baggage will make you want to jump a cliff.

youve done the hard work already by getting into MIT, once you're in, its time to drink and play games with the friends you make there its not what you know, its WHO you know if you dont socialise throughout college, you ll find yourself becoming a highly qualified tech support worker while all your "lower" peers with all the connections they made while goofing off are earning the big bucks

...noone with some relevant iq would judge peole by its os, that the same judging people what music they listen too and stuff ...
..you are not smarter than your peer, your parents just feeds you too long with the myth you where something special .... you are nothing but a normie snowflake who searches despaeratly for confirmation ...
>Implying making your own distribution is a sign of intellect A toddler can do that you know. Also, yet another 1000+ distribution, you linux fags keep Linux fragmented like that and we will never have the year of Linux desktop, every beta cuck who thinks he is smart to start his own distribution that adds nothing beneficial at all except epin
By the time I was 6 I could understand how to assemble a computer by myself
By age 8 I mastered BASIC and wrote my first OS
At 11 I mastered 5 more languages, and started a freelance company
At 12, as I said, I learned Perl to make my company's website
At 15 I was earning over 100000 a month, and started hiring employees to keep up with the demand for my skills
Here I sit at age, a CEO, age 18, with 20 employees and a 12m salary
So please, don't assume everyone is below the average IQ like yourself (I happen to be at 180)

How'd you make it through 18 years without even a rough idea on how to deal with this? I mean, you didn't discover your intellectual prowess only yesterday, right?
