who will buy Xiaomi Redmki K20 Pro Premium?

would love to but in canuck bucks it's like $600, i'm hoping it lowers the price of the 9T pro though

Won't buy anything Xiaomi without a micro SD card slot, but it's damn good otherwise.

If I want a cheap phone only to play gacha games at home (just Girls' Frontline, to be precise), but don't want the absolute cheapest possible but one that's also barely not shitty, which one should I get? Xiaomi Redmi Note 7A (around 85 €)?

How is librem 5?

Any opinions about pic related?

it's similarly priced to K20 Pro, what's better?

Attached: xiaomeme.png (491x491, 142K)

is it possible to get the samsung m30s imported to europe?

t. Scamcuck CEO

isnt the k20 premium essentially a gaming phone now cause of the increased power and that haptic feedback stuff? I'm gonna wait until release and see how affects the prices of other crap

Redmi 7

>phones made out of fucking glass
>no open source drivers anywhere
consumers are idiots and thus there isn't a single decent phone in 2019

Is the only advantage of the Redmi 7 the better screen?

Faster processor makes it better for games

Oh, I see; thanks.

Is the era of capacitive buttons over? I like my leeco s3 but it has no cases and official support ended 2 years ago, even lineage os is winding down.

Yeah you can go low but don't go too low or you're going to sacrifice playing even low end games. Redmi 7 probably won't be a Fortnite god machine but it will run more stuff that you throw at it.

The general rule is that Snapdragon 4XX models barely work for regular smartphone stuff and are shit for any sort of gaming, once you go up a tier to the Snapdragon 6XX you start hitting the sweet spot in terms of price/performance and even doing light gaming. My 625 runs Super Mario Run just fine without getting hot, but I haven't tested more demanding games. But I imagine it would be suffering on a 4XX processor.

i bought a mi 9t and managed to scratch the screen badly after only few days of use as it didn't come with screen protector
is there any way to fix the screen without replacing it? like wet sandpapering or does that break the touchscreen?

this. snap 4 series are shit and should be avoided if you can. lots of phones with 6 series can be found for under 200usd and you'll find at least a few that work with your carrier. 4 series is only good if you have stock/unbloated and only use it for calls text and web browsing but even then it'll prob lag a bit

Fill up the gap with liquid ceramic or windshield fix solution

welp. it happened. i dropped my redmi note 4 and screen broke. is the note 7 the best in its price range? is the 660 a significant upgrade from the 625?

Any good place to get an ROG Phone 2 international model? Really want the 256/12 version but I can't find a place with it yet, more specifically one that can ship internationally because of where I live.

Would help us if you told us where you live.

660 is a decent upgrade. Not night and day but from what I recall has some updated tech like big.LITTLE. Though I'm not facing any issues with the 625 besides Twitter being slow to load from the lock screen. 660 is basically the successor to the 625 of 2017.

Just buy pic related and enjoy life

Very good to know, saved me from making a mistake. Thank you.

Looking for advice since my phone is pretty much dead.

I would really like for it to be resistant to breaking when falling
>budget
3000 pesos (~150 dollars) and a hard limit of 4000 pesos (~200 dollars)

Don't care

I just want to use it to browse the internet, listen to music when commuting and send messages. Maybe occasionally watch a video or two but I don't mind it being in low resolution.

tl;dr
Recommendations for a cheap but resistant phone

What? I understand that the iPhones don't need that much ram, but the pixel too?

Can this run minecraft smoothly? asking unironically

any reason to upgrade from S9 to S10/S10 note/ Iphone 11 pro ?

Attached: 1469991567250.png (497x639, 597K)

Yes

I really want one, especially since I fucked up and still don't have gcam

I was in a store and the 3A and 3 XL were turned off, so the regular pixel 3 stood out. I liked it more than the S10(+) models with meme screen cutouts. Probably going to go for the 3A XL since chinkphones don't support some of the band's Canadian providers use.

Depends on the drop. From the same height one drop will obliterate the screen or do no damage. Don't bother with rugged phones, they're expensive and not worth it. If you must, get a case.

Lucky for you Telcel (is this the same? Couldn't find telmex) uses strictly band 4, which means quite a few but not all chinkphones will work. Check out this list of Xiaomi phones under 200 EUR and with band 4.

m.gsmarena.com/results.php3?nYearMin=2017&nPriceMax=200&sMakers=80&s4Gs=4

Pretty sure it will have 6GB. Not the best but not bad, and with no bloated skin should run fine. I'm more concerned for the face unlock instead of fingerprint.

Try a used flagship, maybe a S8+, LGG6, P20.. or the cheap RedmiNote. One of my coworkers has the RedmiNote 5 and it's a nice cheap phone.

Redmi Note 7 + a good case

The camera arrangement of the Pixel 4 look so much better than the crap on the iPhone 11.

Depends, will it work on Verizon?

Attached: 1567974585003.jpg (500x628, 65K)

No chinkphones will work with your shitty CDMAids carrier. Leave and only return when you have switched to a GSM one.

The UK effortlessly BTFOs Asian and continental smartphone makers with just one phone
>Headphone jack
>Easily modified
>Stock Android
>Priority Sailfish and LineageOS support
>Physical keyboard
>AMOLED
Literally nobody can compete

Attached: fxtec.png (800x467, 81K)

also comes with inbuilt female repellent

KWAB

But I'm posting from a chinkphone on Verizon right now.

Ok so some chinkphones support the shittiest cell phone infrastructure known to man. It's still not an excuse for using Verizon/Sprint/US Cellular. You'll be massively limited in what you can use and changing your active phone is often a hassle compared to GSM where you literally pop in your SIM.

t. posting via mobile data using a sim activated on a phone I sold and switched to this one without having to call my carrier and beg them to let me change

>Lucky for you Telcel (is this the same? Couldn't find telmex)
Telmex is the name of the company and Telcel is the name of the division handling the mobile part. So yeah, technically Telcel would be the carrier.
Thanks for the list, I'm gonna check it and see which one is more convincing.

I'll also check this options

Thanks for the help.

Don't limit yourself to Xiaomi, I just did for that list to get you started and they're a great brand. But don't forget about the used market too, you can find a few gems.

Nah, I'll stick with Verizon.

They're going CDMA-less at the end of the year and I live in the twin cities, so I get their 5G.

>no open source drivers
another amazing piece of hardware that is defective by design

Fair enough, I was also going to check if I could get lucky in my local used market but I first wanted a sense of direction of what to look for.

Again, thanks for the input.

No problem. You gave all the information needed to help you, which is more than most people do here. Good job mexibro

Australia. I'm already quite aware of more Australian-centred stores but not the ones which are American/Global focused.

I'm not sure if Amazon.com will ship to Australia, but you'd end up paying more for shipping than from a retailer who brought a bunch over in bulk to Australia. They ship to Canada which is why I mention it, I think they're the official place to get RoG phones.

The other ones I know of are Canadian or only service Europe now. Sorry bro, wish I could help you more.

It's got a number row too unlike the blackberry key2.

Noice.

Pretty sure Amazon US ships here but only if it's fulfilled by Amazon themselves. The issue is that listings for the international edition are only just coming up and I don't see anything about a 256/12 version anywhere but GSMarena. I know B&H can ship here but they don't have anything yet.
Thanks anyway, I'll keep checking around autistically every day until I find it up for order.

>f(x)tec
>f(x)
Might as well call it incel tec

Pixel phones may have mediocre hardware but man, it's smooth and comfy to use. My Pixel 2 also never slowed down like my previous Samshit did.

Congrats you're not banned

Looks good but I don't have a good impression of Oppo. Might be cool tho. Maybe check how good they are at updating old devices, and what kind of skin they put on Android. I like the looks of Xiaomi's MIUI but there's some shitty parts. Not sure about Oppo.

any less known contenders to K20 Pro?

i saw that Black Shark 2 and Red magic 3 are similarly priced

>gimmick phone

Does the OnePlus 7 Pro work for Sprint or Verizon?

Sprint no, Verizon yes

>Samsung was ready and willing to release this back in April
>despite doing apparently 0 real world testing
>for $2,000
>after revisions its still fragile as fuck
why are there some people online giving them a break for doing the bare minimum and still failing? if this was apple it would've been panned by literally everyone until the end of time

how was this phone so perfect bros
has lasted me 4 years with dozens of drops with 1 crack near the top and a few scratches
im trying so hard to find a replacment but most
>have a worse camera
>worse battery
>less durable looking build
>no physical back/home/multitask

bump

Attached: 1489871017443.jpg (1024x765, 326K)

How big of a difference does 2 GB vs 3 GB RAM make?

About a gigabyte difference.

There are ways to remap the Bixby button to other things so don't let that one stop you at least.

How much is that in Firefox tabs (is there Firefox for Android?), or in pictures-of-cute-anime-girls per second, circa?

there is firefox for android
you can even get ublock origin for it
3gb gets me 99+ tabs
after 99 it starts to fuck with stuff like gallery not showing your photos for minutes at a time but idk if thats just my phone being old now

I know someone who bought an Oppo F11 pro recently for a out $300 (they're dicks when it comes to pricing where I live), he receives the occasional security update, but no Android 10 yet.

but I want a telephoto camera

It's not easy to find chink phones phones with less than 4 GB for ≥$150 nowadays. Don't worry about that. It's kind of difficult currently to use a phone with 2 gb ram considering how shit most apps run.

Girls' Frontline isn't gacha.

Pretty necessary to survive in this #metoo era.

It has a gacha for costumes, doesn't that qualify?
Although I agree that it's barely enough of a proper game to deserve some distinction.

I see, thanks. Might be better to pay 15 € for 3 GB instead of 2 GB then.

What's s good price for a 256/12 OnePlus 7 pro? Only been used for a month with the provided case

I have a Note 8, should I get a Note 10+?

>Orange button on the white version
FUUUUUUUUUU

idk

idk

less than it costs new

Is buying and selling iPhones when they upgrade a better choice financially than buying 300€ phones every year?

idk

Financially speaking maybe, but then you have to use an iphone

Muh dick. I love it.

Estimated price on the Pixel 4? My Pixel 2 power button quit working so I need to trade it in.

I have an S8+ and the screen has some kind of defect where a portion of it is just slightly darker than the rest. It's not super noticeable during normal use, but I know it's there and I see if from time to time. Should I spend the money to have the screen replaced or should I just put away a bit more cash and upgrade?

If so, what should I upgrade to? I sorta want to move away from Samsung.

3a will likely be my new phone once the XL comes down from $650 CAD

Best phone under ~$250 not from China?

lol all phones come from china

Holy fuck dude

I paid $350 cad for a mix 2s like a year ago and it btfos the 3A. I wouldn't even pay $399 CAD for that shit, what's your problem user? Stop getting raped by Google pretending to be Apple
