go to typeracer.com if you want accurate WPM, no silly words stringed together and no tolerance failure. Do about 5 and you'll get a solid WPM average.

Somewhere around 62 seems to be what I can do. With that said, I don't think I've ever typed that fast outside of typing tests.

That's pretty good, the thing about typeracer is that it forces you to be good at typing with natural text as opposed to the random short words that the type of tests you see in this thread does, and they tolerate errors so the WPM is heavily inflated. I get about 100-110 on 10FastFingers and around 75-80 on typeracer.

It really feels different. I'm also slowly starting to improve compared to the random word tests (new best 85 WPM, with 70 on average if I concentrate to not make mistakes). The only downside is that it usually involves a lot of apostrophes, which I'm not really used to with my mother tongue.
