>I donate the coins to my own website.
you what?

Amazing... everything you just said.... was a lie.

But anonimity is shit because chromium doesn't have fingerprint protection.

It has private tabs with tor for that.

Brave includes best-effort defense against browser fingerprinting. Broadly speaking, browser fingerprinting is the detection of browser and operating system features that differ between users for the purpose of covertly identifying users and tracking them across the web. Although fingerprinting attacks will always be possible, it is worthwhile for us to make these attacks as slow / costly / difficult as possible.

Because most browser fingerprinting defense requires disabling web features that are required for many sites to work properly, it is implemented as off-by-default for now (can be turned on in about:preferences globally, or on a per-site basis in the Bravery panel). We will consider turning it on-by-default when we have fingerprinting detection heuristics with a sufficiently-low false positive rate.

UPDATE (8/18/17): As of Brave 0.20.x, Fingerprinting Protection Mode will be enabled by default for all third-party content.

Lead brave dev celebrating the attack on RMS. Fuck off and die, shill.

(((Tom Lowenthal)))

Doesn't work. The engline itself is useless compared to firefox. You're still a unique visitor to websites you visit. Tor tabs are just for hiding from your ISP, nothing more. Just see how much of your information leaks on browserleaks and panopticlick. Now compare it to Tor browser and vanilla Firefox with a couple of about:config tweaks. Brave is the only one which leaks private data. Not to mention it doesn't allow addons at all in the tor profile.
>but addons are bad for anonimity
Not all are, and I'd rather have uBO than Brave shields because uBO is infinitely better.
If you want online privacy, you can't use a chromium based browser. They only recently made a statement that they'll start looking into fingerprint protection while Firefox had it for years.

0.5 BAT has been deposited into your (totally private and ultra-encrypted, pinky promise goy) account.

Their (not yet released) new built-in rust-based content blocker is inspired from uBO , infact the early benchmarks show that's faster than uBO. so your infinitely better remark is simple wrong.

>Something that doesn't exist is better

>their non existent product none of us can see or try is better, I swear!
Kys faggot

And see:

>Never heard of alpha/beta phase

>launch chrome
>software_reporter.exe starts running
>old hard drive starts chugging and shaking my whole desk
>kill software_reporter.exe
>chugging stops

Just use vivaldi.

I wanted to start using Brave publishing, but they ban you if you don't like SJWs and trannies.

Hi rajesh

This applies to you dear brainlets

>Not all are, and I'd rather have uBO than Brave shields because uBO is infinitely better.
Then fucking good, do that. You're not forced to use their built-in shields.

Why give a fuck? If it doesn't translate to software - why care at all?

seething

But it is encrypted and private. There's no blind trust anywhere. Everything is open source. But the big brains here can't grasp the concept of alpha/beta software, so I think I'm wasting my time trying to have a conversation.

No, I'm not, I'm just trying to have a conversation. But apparently not many people here are trying to do the same.

how am i anything like this?

cope

It’s been a while since Pajeets were shilling Brave in Jow Forums. Where is the user with that based meme picture about what to do when someone starts these threads

How do I put more link icons here

More like developed by javascript creator.

aka a pile of shit pyramid scheme to make BAT buckaroos off dumb shills.

>hey guys heres $5,000 of our start up money from advertising firm investments
>lets give this to social media "influencers" to get more userbase :^)
>for every user you get $5 worth of BAT!!!

Imagine actually paying for people to use your fucking software

ROFLLLLLLLLLL

I gotta say... It's pretty based.
Make sure you try it out at brave.com

I fired up chromium yesterday and god am I glad I'm not a chromefag anymore, jesus that was slow. I still use Firefox though, to stay somewhat mainstreaming.

I use brave only to access google drives and nothing more. All other internet browsing activity is conducted through hardened and letterboxed firefox with ghack user.js

Fuck this repelled me from brave.

>lets give this to social media "influencers" to get more userbase :^)
you forgot
>and use them without telling them, and make brave coin only available if they ask for it, otherwise after 90 days we take it back

qt based browser when

>You're not forced to use their built-in shields.
You are. We're discussing the brave's useless tor tabs.

For me, it's the BRAVE BROWSER. The best internet browser. I even download the BRAVE BROWSER on my phone, tablet, laptop, and desktop because the BRAVE BROWSER DEVELOPMENT TEAM is so friendly and more than willing to oblige.

One time I asked for 3 ads to be blocked and they blocked three. I said, "Wow, three for free!" and the nice friendly BRAVE worker laughed and said, "I'm going to call you 3-for-free!".

Now the BRAVE BROWSER greets me with "hey it's 3-for-free!" and ALWAYS blocks every ad, cookie, and tracker. It's such a fun and cool atmosphere with my BRAVE BROWSER, I use it at least 7 times a week for my daily browsing needs which include work, pornography, school, and stalking my whore ex wife on facebook.

I even use my BRAVE BROWSER to browse 4channel, it's amazing! What a great BRAVE BROWSER.

>qt based browser when
Falkon and Otter

is falkon good?

For a lightweight browser it's quite good. Fast, has userscript support and a solid ad-blocker built-in, and actually respects your privacy in every way by default.

ok, so its not a botnet?

Farthest thing from it.

weird, i would have expected it to be posted about more frequently then. I know Jow Forums used to have good suggestions back in 2012 or so

It's not as popular as the mainstream stuff because while it supports extensions, there are only a handful available. Also, up until a few months ago it didn't support kde wallet and gnome keyring (now it does).

>kde wallet and gnome keyring
arent these botnet?

How many brave shill coins do they pay you for this shit? I wanna get in on this shill stuff before the coins actually have real value so I can stockpile them.

>I wanna get in on this shill stuff before the coins actually have real value so I can stockpile them
will they ever gain real value?

You're botnet.

Fucks sake. Stop using that word if you don't know what the fuck it means. I really thought the kids going back to school would cut down on the homosexual ficus, but it didn't.

>Stop using that word if you don't know what the fuck it means. I really thought the kids going back to school would cut down on the homosexual ficus, but it didn't.
i guarantee ive been here longer than you

Maybe? I mean, if you don't mind being a legal digital fence. Use the coins to buy whatever partner services actually accept them and resell for 90% cash value? Like (and I don't know if this is one of their partners, just an example) let's say you can use the coins for a SquareSpace subscription for hosting or a website, you turn around and resell that subscription to a small business for 10% off what they would pay cash money for it. They'll jump on it because for businesses, 10% is a good deal. They don't often get the kind of price breaks that normal consumers get.

I doubt that. I've been on Jow Forums since before there WAS a Jow Forums, back when I was a weeb 20something.

are you counting that as Jow Forumsuro too?

It’s also not a pro fag browser. Weird thing

Dude. . .at least put some effort into your shilling. This is just lazy.

Based vivaldibro.

Brave is better than that other thing of nothingness to be. Just wait and see!

Attached: Fuck_with_me_and_i'll_put_your_lights_out.png (1174x1074, 646K)

I came to post this image.

I use Brave with trace + uBO + Policy Control extensions. Brave's internal fingerprint control ain't worth shit.
