I would delete music stored in opus format also. Opus is not for music, it is for voice over the network.

why couldn't you?

wow, I wish I could use an OS that didn't let me delete files. 10 REASONS WINDOWS IS JUST BETTER

nice thread

When in a pinch, use WinRAR to "create a .rar then delete the file". Then you can delete the rar and you're good.
Worked for me when I couldn't delete a file because Windows couldn't locate it.

Maybe that's the sort of music the OP listens to.

Some viruses will remove the delete option

Yes, in the same way that your hands are for climbing trees and not for typing.

Actually Opus is good for everything, it replaces both Vorbis and Speex.

You would have to ask the creator of hands to know what they are for.
Let's check in on the opus folks and see what they say: ``The Opus codec is designed for interactive speech and audio transmission over the Internet."

>audio transmission over the internet
Sounds almost like it's for listening to music.

>sounds almost
Almost
>``Quality®™''
>make the line go above the others, yeah, just like that.

I don't want to debate quality metrics with you. I was only pointing out that you're misrepresenting the "Opus folks". They intend it to be a universal format, not just for voice.

>I don't want to debate quality metrics with you.
How could you when they are subjective at best.
"It attempts to summarize results from a collection of listening tests and (when no data exists) show anecdotal evidence."
>I was only pointing out that you're misrepresenting the "Opus folks"
I'm not, though; speech and voice were their intended use case from the start. Everything else is just marketing.

marketing or not opus is great and i can't tell the difference between 96k opus and 140k aac so i'm sticking with opus regardless.

USE .MKA AND .MKV FOR EVERYTHING!!!!11!ONE!

I agree that opus is great, so I hope you continue to use that which makes you happy.
I will just be over here enjoying the dulcet sounds of my Traditional Songs & Dances of Hungary in mp3 320kbps format.

Is it possible an application has an active file lock on those files?

If not... Try to rename a file to "junk" and keep renaming files that overwriting the original junk file. There will be one junk file with same contents as the last, but only one. ;)

1.mp3@ 320 kbps 13.0MB
That is not how

works, kiddo.

Opus music exists. TeamSpeak uses it and the quality is mighty fine.

Quality arguments as usual. Maybe Reddit is more your style.

That's nice.

``That's nice.''

>arguments

The Chinese cartoon poster and I were just expressing our opinions.

Maybe you should fuck off?

lmfao just remove it from the command line idiot

>mp3 320kbps
Retard. CBR encoding is fucking stupid and you should be ashamed of yourself. V0 is superior

opus>flac>aac,V0>>>>>>>>mp3 CBR

That's nice.

It isn't garbage for music like opus.

Why are you trolling outside of /b/? Don't answer that it's a rhetorical question.
