My mom yelled at me because I haven't found a job. She tells me I'm lazy and I'm not looking hard enough, she doesn't seem to understand that:
1.- Computer engineering jobs don't take part-timers 2.- Going back to burger flipping at 25 is humiliating 3.- the job market is absolutely fucked, both IRL (immigrants) and online (Indians)
All I can do is just stay in my room until classes start again in March.
just remember to still love her though! she is your mom!

It's summer break actually but thanks.
She has been sitting for 20 years in a government job, she has no idea how tough things are nowadays
Thanks. I guess I'll ask my professors in March if they have anything available.
Maybe, but I think I'm starting to get in her nerves and might start hating me tho.
Only rich gringos have computers here, they let us use them if we ask nicely and finish work early. I managed to learn programming with the 20 min of computer time a week my gringo masters give me, after that I have to return to the copper mine.

It's not like it's a lot of money, your typical fast food job around here pays $370~ USD per month with 45hr a week.

1. Lazy and not looking hard enough. 2. Lazy. 3. Lazy and not looking hard enough.

There are no dishonorable jobs. Only leeching off of others is dishonorable.
