I came back home from abroad recently and decided to visit my great grandmas house. I really loved her, she lived to 86, worked till she was 80 and spent her last 6 years living with us. Her house used to be very clean and very very clean because she would wash everything very often and repaint the walls atleast twice a year. It was a very emotional trip for me, from both sentimental/nostalgic and philosophical reasons. I took some photos, pic related is the outside but I also took a lot of photos on the inside, should I dump them here?

Good work OP. It's always interesting to see stuff like this.
before she came to live with you, why didn't you guys sell the house and pack up the belongings? Who just leaves a house behind?
actually loks white
also how long has this house been abandoned OP? looks like quite a long time
We lived in the same town+she would visit it often and we would repair/take care of it. After she died it became to hard for my parents to go there, since they were close, the house was built in the 1880s using manure and hay and mud and other top notch african tehnologies, but i tell you, we had another house built out of the same materials it took us and a team of professionals 3 days to demolish it, a normal brick house its not as sturdy as cow shit, it baffles me to this day.
About 10 years, it was pretty okay until 3 years ago when the wall collapsed during a storm
she had nice blue eyes

A sad reallity. I've seen a lot villages like this. All you have to do is to drive 50km away from a town
That's.. a rather ruined house for only "6 years left without a care".
Nevertheless, good thread OP.
Its more than 6, i forgot to add some details. Thanks, one weird thing i noticed was that as dirty and ruined that house was, the wall around this icon thingy was really clean and untouched by mold and watet/rain from the callapsed roof and destroyed ceilling...i am not the most devouted christian in the world, but it kinda freaked me out
Also i stepped on this thing, i ve never been this lucky in my entire life, dont mind my shoes
Ive the studies are correct,by 2050 we will be down to 13.000.000, compared to 25.000.000 in 1990, so i guess atleast 1/4 of the houses around us will end up like this since there wont be enough people to take care of them
Would you look at that!
Is Romania shrinking that much..?
