I chooped off a small chunk of the tip of my index finger once
It had a stumpier shape as well for quite a while but eventually it regrew into the usual form
I still have some different tact on it, barely noticeable, but at least it looks like your everyday finger

nope, in sims 3 you can occasionally find gems or metals. you can get them smithed (for metals) or cut for gems via mailing them with the price. with the supernatural DLC you can buy a device to cut gems for free too!
