I think it's criticizing how school education works nowadays.
You arent't really studying or learning anything for life, instead you get teached to memorize information better than others until you have finished an exam just to forgot about everything you have learned so far afterwards, even basic things you should have been already familiar with since the elementary school are getting repeated for high schoolers and many of them will struggle.
