This is often symbolized by the 2 pillars Boaz and Jachin that represent this duality and in example was collapsed during 9/11 with the new unified tower being erected in its stead. Or trannies which are a perversion of the union of male and female resulting in death and decay (suicide and sterility) as opposed to the natural union creating a new life.
