it's pretty spooky, normally it's about someone who saw something bizarre and they are telling their story. there are many short stories that you can read fast, you should try reading them.
i didn't read too many like i said, but dagon is my favorite so far. as far as i understand the interconnected stories are the best ones, and this is one of them.
