Artyom: "Good hunting, Comrades!"
You both leave, heading over to a truck.
There is one other soldier waiting next to it.
Tony: "Ah, where is the other one? He's late."
He turns to you.
Tony: "Give us a moment, Comrade, we're just waiting on one other..."

DUBS
You both skin the deer and separate the edible meat from their carcasses.
With the meat bagged, you head back to the camp.
It looks like the fight has ended and the men are hanging around the campfire.
Kruber: "Haha! How was the hunt?!"

You keep watching through the windows, everything remains clear.
You hear Georgia wake up behind you with a quiet groan.
She sits up on the sofa, rubbing her face with her right hand.

After checking upstairs, you don't manage to locate one.
Célia shouts up from downstairs.
Célia: "Hey, did you find one yet?!"

"Nope! I don't see shit!"
>Head back down
"How about you?"

>Nod to tony and wait by the truck

>Walk over to her
"Georgia... Are you okay? Has the pain dulled yet?"
"I'm sorry about the hand..."

“Better than you cunts doing absolutely nothing important”
“It’s a miracle how we’re still standing yet”
>place the skins on the passenger seat of the truck,go to the campfire and cook the meat

Célia; "Hmm, no, zis place is like a maze... I haven't checked all down here yet, though. It would help if zis place wasn't a complete mess."

After a few seconds, another soldier runs over, out of breath from running.
Soldier: "Ah, ah... Sorry, Comrades, I'm here now."
Tony: "Da, very good. Let us go, then!"
You all climb on board the truck and it sets off out of the base.
Tony: "Okay, so this team was close to our base. That could be bad news, it's not so often that the Arume come this close... But, that means we'll have longer to catch up to them if they've been captured. Let's make this quick, Comrades!"

She sits back in the sofa, looking at her missing hand.
Georgia: "Yeah... It's not your fault..."
She glances around the room.
Georgia: "Where are we?"

You start cooking your meat after dropping off the skins.
Kruber: "You know, if we weren't being fucked by aliens, I'd buy you some medicine for your anger issues... What's the matter, friend, is something bothering you?"

>Climb into the truck and ask the late soldier his name

"Damnit...we don't have time to waste. Let's move."
>Get that large siphon and place it in the trunk and head off

"It is. This is just the first abandoned house I came across, figured we should wait here for a bit. We should get moving soon, though, that man says he didn't manage to kill them"
>Take a seat somewhere I can still watch the window from
"When you feel comfortable enough to move again, tell me. Going back to the base is probably not safe..."

Ivan: "Ah, my name is Ivan, Comrade. Nice to meet you. Uh... What was your name?"
Tony: "Haha! Maybe I should've introduced you to everyone. Eston, this is Corporal Ivan. Ivan, this is Private Eston, he's a new recruit. And this..."
He gestures over to the other soldier who's with the group.
Tony: "...is Corporal Dimitri. Dimitri, this is Eston, etcetera, etcetera..."
Dimitri: "Dan, nice to meet you, Eston."
The truck continues down a forest road.

You finally manage to find a fuel syphon and move back out to the car.
Célia: "A little sightseeing couldn't hurt too much, right?"
She climbs into the passenger's seat.

Georgia: "Yeah... We don't really have anywhere to go now."
She pulls herself to her feet.
Georgia: "I want to fight. We should leave this city and look for somewhere to stay."

Kruber: "Haha, I'll just fight like I always do. It's all I know."
You start eating the deer, it's bretty good.
Vladimir: "Comrade, what do you think we should do differently?"

"I guess not. Anywhere nice looking on our way to the Alps?"

You resume driving.
Célia: "Yes, ze whole journey should be filled with beautiful countryside."
You leave through the south of the city and continue down a road through some hills.
The overgrown grass in the surrounding fields sways calmly in the wind.
Célia pokes her head out of the window slightly.
Célia: "Mmmm, see?"

"Nice to meet you to new comrades, let's a very effective team, da?"

"Yeah... But where to? I think we should try and stay near the coast, it should be easier to gather supplies there."
>Wait for her to approach before beginning to walk away from the house

>Look around
"Yeah...not something you really see where I grew up. Even if overgrown it's a nice sight."

“But what would really improve your situation is if you would collect supplies, we need a bit of firewood for the campfires and a little bit of coal wouldn’t be bad”
>Finish eating it and go back to the truck

All of them together: "Da!"
After a minute or so, the truck pulls up at the side of the road.
Tony: "This is our stop, let's go!"
They all climb out of the truck and scurry over to some trees for cover.
Tony: "Not much further now, Comrades. Let's keep quiet as we approach..."

Georgia: "There's probably going to be another Resistance base in the next city over... They'd have food, water, medical supplies, and weapons."
You both head out the front of the house and begin walking down the road, away from the base.

Célia: "Yeah, it sways nicely in the wind when it's long..."
As you're continuing down the road, you spot an Arume vehicle approaching ahead.
Célia: "Hey, is that..?"

Vladimir: "The only one who gets drunk is Vlad, but he's always been drunk ever since Ma and Pa died..."
Vladislav: "Da, and we're in forest, there is wood everywhere."
You walk off back to the truck.
It's shaking every now and again as the engineers are fiddling with the armour in the back.

"Ah fuck..."
>Play it cool

>Try to get some shuteye

>Hop out and ready the '60 while carefully sneaking along

"Hopefully... Trying not to get dragged into the war isn't an option anymore, is it? Let's see if they'll take us in"
>Keep walking ahead, try to remain hidden because if the arume have a base here the whole city's probably chock full of them

You keep driving towards them in an attempt to play it cool.
Célia: "Ah, what are you doing?"
As they get close, they veer their vehicle to the side, blocking the road.
It's an Arume truck.
Five Arume climb out of the back and point their rifles at your vehicle.

You fall asleep in the truck and have a dream.
You find yourself standing on the top of a large skyscraper, now desolate and worn down, above a destroyed city.

You all carefully move along through the forest, following Tony as he follows a map.
He raises his hand to order everyone to stop.
Tony: "Okay, this is roughly where they were when we lost contact with them. Let's split up and search around here to see if we can work out what happened, but don't stray too far, Comrades."

Georgia: "Well, those Arume arseholes kind of dragged us into it..."
You continue walking.
As you are, you spot some lights emerge along the horizon, approaching the city.
It looks like a lot of Arume airships that are heading for the city and their base.
Then, just ahead of the both of you, something impacts the ground, kicking up dust.
Georgia: "What?!"
As it clears, you see a woman with large, metallic wings standing a few metres in front of you.
She looks at you.
Arume: "Perfect, you must be their captives... I'm looking for someone, the man who broke you out. If you tell me where he went, I won't kill you."
She speaks in a commanding tone and Georgia moves closer to you.

It's just stable enough to not fall down, but it's not exactly the best craftsmanship.

>Stand in front of Georgia and tell the winged piece of shit a load of bullshit in the most convincing tone I can manage
"He was headed North, on foot."

You move away and begin checking around the nearby area in the forest, looking for any signs of a fight or what might've happened to the scouts.
You don't find anything immediately.

She smiles.
Arume: "Why thank you very much."
She turns and readies her wings.
Arume: "Now, you best run along before those airships catch you..."
She launches herself into the sky and you lose sight of her.
Georgia: "I-I hope the Resistance have some big guns..."
The airships continue quickly encroaching on the city.

She moves her hand away.
Alyona: "Y-yeah... I imagine it was."
There's an awkward silence.

Célia: "O-okay..."
Célia ducks down and you stop the car, before rolling down the window.
An Arume who seems to be in charge speaks up.
Arume: "It's very bold of you to think you'd get away with driving during the day, human. Are you with the Resistance?"

>Move over to Tony to see if he's seen anything

"Nope. Just trying to survive out here like the rest of us. Look, what do you want?"
>Step out he car slowly.

"If they didn't have them they'd have already fallen, I think... "
>Hold Georgia's hand and go back to running the fuck away
"I wonder if these airships are here to hunt us down or to fuck over that man. I'm not keen on finding out, either way"

“Th-That stuff near the end was all technique by the way. It didn’t work unfortunately...”

Tony: "I've got nothing, as well... Let's keep moving forward and looking around, there has to be something..."

Arume: "Is that really something you need to ask?"
She throws up a hand signal and one of the Arume lowers her gun and pulls out some wrist restraints before slowly walking over to you.

You grab her hand and get back to running.
Georgia: "Well, It's probably not because of a couple of escapees. It's got to be because of the attack on the base, or something."
You run perpendicular to the airships and the base you were fleeing from, before making it out of the city and into some tree cover.
Georgia: "Either way, I'm sure they wouldn't just ignore us if they did spot us..."

Alyona: "Oh, yeah, that... Well, y-you were in a tough spot, I guess."
She pauses for a moment.
Alyona: "Umm, if you want, I would be happy to spar with you again... You don't have t-to worry about... Err..."
She then quietly says.
Alyona: "...my face."

"Hey, hold on. The hell is this?"

"Indeed... Where's the closest city, then? I swear if it's to the North then I'm going to fucking..."
>Let my sentence devolve into angry, low-pitched gibberish towards the end.

As you keep searching, you finally spot something.
You see a tree that has been shot, burn marks left on it suggest Arume weapons.
There might be more nearby.

The Arume squad leader scowls slightly.
Arume: "We're taking you alive. Would you rather be dead?"
The Arume with the restraints cautiously stops as you step backwards.

Georgia: "I-I don't know... But, we could probably find one by following any main road. There's one to the east that would take us away from where you directed that Arume."

She blushes and covers her chest with her arms.
Alyona: "Eh?! Y-you wouldn't..."
Then, you hear someone walk over to the tent and unzip it.
Looking over, you see Jun in the tent's doorway with a face like pic related.
She doesn't say anything and just slowly zips up the tent.
Alyona: "W-wait!"
You hear Jun run off and loudly speak to Faith.
Jun, from outside: "F-Faith, I'm going to sleep you and Lyla tonight, o-okay?"
Faith, from outside: "Huh, what's gotten into you?"
Jun, from outside: "N-nothing, I just wanted to, uh... sleep with... You."
Alyona lets out a sigh and rolls onto her back.
Alyona: "Sh-she probably got the wrong idea..."

Valerie licks your hand after you compliment them, while John stares at a tree and the rest look at you with emotionless faces.

You catch a glint from it under some rubble in front of you.

You go to continue searching, when a shot zips past your face, grazing it and just nearly missing blowing your head off.
Rapid gunfire follows, flying in your direction.
Tony, shouting: "Contact! Get to cover!"
Everyone scrambles to get to cover, you can't see the Arume who's shooting at you, yet.

Georgia: "Okay."
You both begin walking down the forest to the east.
The Airships are spreading out across the city and a few are moving over to the Arume base, but they don't see you as you're in the forest.
Georgia: "Godammit, I still feel really light-headed."

You push the bits of small rubble out of the way and see the hatchet laying there on the floor.
Then, you notice a slight gust of wind flow past you, carry some dust with it.
You hear Afriel speak from behind you.
Afriel: "Oh, that brings back memories..."

Arume: "That's still taking you alive."
The Arume with the restraints walks over to you and reaches out for your arm.

The deer take up positions around the shack and one of them pisses on it.
You then mount John and head out with him and Valerie to look for lifeforms.
You spot the Arume squad from before.
They're cautiously moving through the forest, they almost look scared.

She slides into her sleeping back and covers up half of her face with it, before saying.
Alyona: "M-mine and Jun's..."

>Remember the basics of CQC and take her hostage.

“You aren’t him, begone foul creature”
>take the hatchet and jump from the building, hit the hatchet on the ground as soon as i fall

>Set up the bipod and spray wildly in the direction of the gunfire
"GET SOME GOOKS!"

“I-i guess we’re sharing tonight then...”

"Need me to carry you, then? I don't think we can afford to stop just yet. The sooner we get there, the sooner we can get you some proper treatment"

You quickly grab her arm and disarm her, before taking her hostage.
Arume Squad Leader: "Tsk. What now? Do you want me to let you go, is that it?"

You jump off of the building and fall for a while, before landing with hatchet first.
It burns yo9ur arm as you hold it.
Afriel is waiting at the bottom.
Afriel: "Of course I'm no filthy Man... But, oh, how I like to watch him struggle to fight back, it's so cute. Here, how about you tell me what he told you and I might let you see him, sound good?"

You set up your m60 and begin firing in the rough direction the enemies were attacking from.
It's hard to tell if you hit any of them, but you definitely suppressed them.
Ivan, shouting: "Blyad! I can't see where they are, Comrades!"

She sounds surprised.
Alyona: "Eh?! I-I mean... Umm, w-well... G-goodnight!"
She rolls over in her sleeping bag, facing away from you.
You see her squirming around in it like she's doing something.

Georgia: "I can keep going... p-probably."
You both continue and you move closer to her.
After a bit, she puts her arm around your shoulder to give her some support.
Georgia: "Th-that should do. Is that okay?"

They jump, one of them screaming.
Arume: "Kyaaa!"
They begin looking around, frantically.
You remain unseen.

"Of course it is..."
>Keep trekking on the side of the road, make sure she doesn't fall over

"Well yeah. I'm just tryna live my life same as you. Don't wanna hurt you guys, but you're stopping my trip to...to meet my family."

“Are you alright?”
>pull her towards me so she faces me

"Cover me comrades!"
>Fix sten bayonet
"URAAAAAAAAAA!"

"There's nothing to fear... that is if you cause us no harm!"

You notice the airship lights getting smaller and smaller behind you as you get further away from the city.
You support Georgia so that she doesn't fall over.
Georgia: "Ugh, I feel like we're going to be walking forever."

Arume: "Very well..."
She gestures for the soldiers to lower their weapons.
Arume: "Release her and go. Maybe if the Arume had been made up of people like myself then you humans wouldn't be going extinct..."

You pull her towards you, rolling her over to face you.
Alyona: "W-w-w-wait!"
You pull so hard that the zip slides down and you see her with her clothes half-off, trying to get undressed.
She pushes you away and quickly zips it back up.
Alyona: "I-I'm trying to get undressed so that I can sleep!"
She turns away again.
Alyona: "G-geez..."

You lay your M60 to your side and fix your knife to the Sten.
Tony: "Da, Comrade!"
They all start laying down covering fire as you charge in the direction of the Arume.
You spot one of them duck behind a tree just ahead of you, she's too busy hiding from the incoming fire to notice you running at them.

They freeze and one calls out.
Arume: "O-okay..! Who are you?!"

"Who I am's not important, what's important is my plan"

You ride out into the open in front of them.
They don't raise their weapons at you because of what you said earlier, but they all stumble backwards.
Arume: "A-and what would that be?"

"Hold on. What do you mean by that? As far as I've seen is that all you wanted us gone. Hell, even yesterday three of your guys tried to capture me for just walking around and turn me into one of you guys."
>Let go.

"Can't be more than an hour or two at most, but considering how fucked we are, it's normal for it to seem longer... Wanna head deeper into the forest and set up camp for tonight? We can't start a fire too close to the road..."

“Oh... I didn’t know you slept in the nude...”

“G-goodnight”

The Arume stumbles back to the group, a bit shaken after you let her go.
Arume: "Take it as you like. I'm not going to be questioned by you. Now, leave before I change my mind."

Georgia: "Yeah, that might be a good idea, my eyelids are already feeling heavy again."
You both head nice and deep into the forest, away from the road.

You turn the other way.
Alyona: "Right, goodnight... A-and, you better not have any dirty dreams about me..."

Some dramatic music starts playing and the Arume look confused, yet slightly scared.
Arume: "D-Deers of War?"

As you let out a war cry, the Arume hears you and turns to meet your attack.
She knocks your Sten to the side, avoiding the bayonet, before kneeing you in the stomach, knocking the wind out of you.
The other Arume are still being suppressed and can't help her, though.

>Roundhouse her ribs
"DIE SCUM!"

>Gather some sticks and grass to start a fire with
"So, do you have a lighter or will we have to do this by hand?"

"yesssss"

"Hmm... alright then. See ya."
>Get back in the car
"You can get up now, Frenchie."
>Start driving.

You go to roundhouse her ribs, but she blocks it and quickly draws her knife, before stabbing you in the right shoulder.
Arume: "You're the scum here!"

She rummages through her pockets and pulls one out.
Georgia: "Oh, yeah, I think I grabbed it while we were grabbing stuff to run away from the house."

The Arume steps forward, defiantly.
Arume: "That... That sounds like a whole lot of bs!"

The Arume gives you an annoyed look as you leave back to the car.
They get in their truck and move it out of the way.
Célia: "F-Frenchie? I beg your pardon?!"
You begin driving down the road again.
Célia: "Anyway, what ze hell was that? What if they'd shot on sight?"

"Thank you."

>Headbutt her in an attempt to knock her unconscious

“N-neither should you!”

>Utilize the hive to tell Valerie to kick her in the face, then run behind a tree in case they try anything

You struggle to light it and, when you do, you manage to burn your hand.
Georgia sits down, leaning against a tree nearer to the fire.
Georgia: "I just realised that we don't have anywhere to sleep but the dirt floor..."

You put all of your might into a strong headbutt, smashing your head into hers.
She falls backwards, clutching her head, stunned by the attack.
However, she doesn't fall unconscious, yet.

You fall asleep after a bit and have a dream...
You find yourself standing at the edge of a cliff, overlooking a destroyed city.
It's devoid of any life.
You hear something walking up behind you.

Valerie runs over to the Arume and bucks her in the face before she can react.
She falls on her arse and shouts as you run behind a tree.
Arume: "Ow! You fucker! Get them!"
The Arume open fire in your direction, lighting up the tree you're hiding behind.
You see Valerie running for her life.

She thinks on it.
Célia: "Hmmm... Mmhm, I think I get it. But, still, chatting to every Arume we run into sounds like a shabby plan..."
You continue driving down the road.
The mountains are starting to become visible far off in the distance.

You throw the hatchet at her and she catches it.
Afriel: "Well, you're free to do as you please, I suppose... For now."
She lets out a big sigh.
Afriel: "I guess that's another lost lamb for the slaughter... You don't know what you're dealing with, human, you should've heeded my warning..."
She fades out, leaving the hatchet to drop onto the floor and you find yourself alone in the desolate city street.

"It ws the plan this time. They had five guys pointed at us. As soon as we raised our guns we'd be riddled with bullets."
>Follow the road to the Alps.

>Grab Sten while she's stunned and attempt to stab her knees
