Stan: "All you have to do is wake up... or be awoken..."
You suddenly snap awake as you're poked in the face.
You see an Arume pointing her rifle at you through the truck's window.
Arume: "Wakey wakey..."
You suddenly feel another Arume grab you from the left in the driver's seat, she forces a gag into your mouth.

Zarsis: "Nothing ever happens here... There becomes a point where peace becomes unbearable and you just want something to happen."
He continues looking out across the clouds.

DUBS
Johnny: "The names Johnny..."
He grabs both of your shoulders and turns you around.
Johnny: "...and the Arume are happening, so I'd suggest that you run."
He starts running.
Johnny: "They're after me, so we can chat later if you wanna help me lose them!"

You draw your pistol.
Jun's eyes widen and she starts shaking, raising a wobbly finger to point behind you.
Jun: "Behind you..."
She speaks in a high pitched voice as she squeaks out the words.

>quickly turn around and draw my pistol. If the nigga looks like he’s gonna attack shoot him up

"Fucking... alright I have a car. If you can make it come with us."
>Head back to the car quick

"I see... "
>Make my way around Zarsis and boop the snoot.
"Have you ever met a girl who goes by the name Afriel? She attempted to dissuade me from talking to you, and called herself an angel..."

You quickly turn, pointing your pistol behind you.
Alyona and Faith are both gone, all you see is a silhouette of the reapers cloak and a huge scythe in his skeletal hands.
The Reaper: "Larsssss... You have to wake up... They're coming..."

You all start running together.
Célia: "Z-zis doesn't sound like a good idea!"
Johnny: "A car?! Can that outrun airships and a really pissed off Arume with wings?!"
After a few seconds, you make it back to the car.
Johnny slides to a stop, turning around to look back into the forest.
You can see the airships shooting down into the trees, it looks like they're still distracted for the time being.

His head is hanging over the edge of the mountain so you're unable to boop the snoot.
Zarsis: "Hmmm... An Angel indeed, and a troublesome one at that... You say that you met her?"

“Huh? Who’s coming?”
>finally realize I’m in a dream and try to wake up

"No, but- the hell are you doing? As soon as I get in that car I'm leaving, move it or lose it!"
>Keep moving.

"She appeared to me in a dream while I was looking for you. She seemed rather arrogant... I'm not sure where her genuine concern ends and the manipulation begins"
"I also met a man who had some sort of power over flames and heat, and he seemed to recognise your name..."
"Also, would you mind lowering your head a bit? I want to try something"

The Reaper: "The Arume..."
He raises his scythe up high above his head.
The Reaper: "Kill them."
He then drops it down on you, jolting you awake.
You're in your tent, Alyona is asleep in her sleeping bag.
You can hear some footsteps outside and a couple of twigs snap.

Célia jumps in the passenger's seat and Johnny hops in the back.
He pokes his head out of the window, watching the forest.
He keeps muttering to himself.
Johnny, muttering: "C'mon, C'mon, C'mon..."
You start speeding down the road through the forest.

Zarsis: "Hmm?"
He slinks his body around and lowers his head before you.
You can see bits of rotten flesh hanging off and his glistening bone beneath.
Zarsis: "A man who has power over flames and heat... I believe I've heard stories of such a man, I'm surprised he's still going. As for the Angel, there's nothing I can do, I'm too weak. You'll just have to go through her torment before you learn to resist her. But, one thing is for sure... she's only appearing before you out of fear..."

>Put the petal to the metal.
"What are you focusing on?"

>grab my pistol and shake Alyona awake
Whisper “I think someone’s here...”

>Walk over and pet his snout, try not to touch the rotting pieces of meat as I do so
"If you're too weak to harm her, then what does she fear? I imagine it's some sort of information..."
"Regardless, we should focus on becoming stronger for now, if she's opposed to us."
"Do you think there's a way for me to show you the real world, Zarsis? You don't sound happy locked up here"

You floor it.
Johnny: "A friend..."
Célia: "Do you know someone out there? D-don't you want to help them?"
Johnny: "No, he'll be fine. We've just got to look out for-"
He's cut off as something rips through the car, cutting the roof wide open.
Célia: "Aaaah!"
Johnny: "...her!"
Something then tears through the forest and across the road ahead, leaving toppled trees in the road ahead.
You're unable to stop in time and crash into them.
You didn't crash too hard, though, so you're all unharmed, but the car is quite beaten up.
You see a familiar Arume with metallic wings standing on the other side of the trees.
Johnny: "Damn..."
Célia: "Carter, are you okay?!"
Johnny jumps out of the car.
Johnny: "I'll distract her, you guys run. It's me she's after, anyway... and, uh, sorry about the car..."

Alyona wakes up after you shake her.
She looks worried.
Alyona, whispering: "What? Someone like who?"
She desperately scrambles in her sleeping bag to get some clothes on.
You hear one of the tents get unzipped in the camp.
Then, you hear a female voice whisper just outside of your tent.
Whispering Voice: "Are the charges set on the tank? Good. Help me clear this tent."
Alyona slowly goes for her rifle.

You boop his snoot and he pushes against you slightly.
Zarsis: "I am trapped here... I don't know what it's like to fell happy. But, that Angel, she doesn't fear for herself... She fears for those who worship her."
He moves back to looking out over the clouds.
Zarsis: "There will come a time when you must get stronger, but there is nothing I can do to directly affect her..."

"Not directly...? I understand asking this might be too much, but could you... Help me become stronger? As things are right now, I'm powerless to do anything other than running, hiding and trying to find strength in numbers..."

"It's her!"
>Back out and keep driving
"Stay safe, man!"

>“Shit!”

Zarsis: "I'm unable to help right now. You should seek out your fellow men and work with them if you wish to fight. You're going to need all of the allies you can get..."
The rain appears as if it's flowing upwards for a split second, then you wake up, hitting the floor as you fell out of the tree.
Georgia is still asleep, but the sun has come up recently.

Johnny: "Yeah, I'll see you again some time! I can see it in your eyes..!"
You back up the car up and quickly manoeuvre is past the fallen trees, before speeding off down the road.
Célia: "'It's her'? D-do you know her?"
You're speeding through the forest once again, you make good progress and it seems the Arume is ignoring you as she's dealing with the guy.

You quickly pop some shots off through the front of the tent.
You hear some Arume scream in pain.
Alyona readies her rifle and follows you as you jump out.
It's dark and you see two Arume who were outside of your tent, now on the floor in pain.
You shoot one and Alyona shoots another.
You see Arume all around, they jump and point their guns in your direction.
Alyona: "Shit!"
You both open fire on them and dive for cover behind a log.
Alyona: "D-did they say the tank?"
You hear Geralt shout "ALARM!" from over in the truck.

You punch her rifle and rip the gag from your mouth, managing to shout out.
Shortly after, you hear gunfire breakout in the camp.
You quickly get your knife into your hand as they hadn't restrained you yet.
The Arume to your left who was going to restrain you tries to grab your arms.

>Get my m1911 with my other hand and shoot the other
>Make my way into the tank if i can

"Shit!"
>Ponder about whether it'd be wise to let her sleep for a few minutes, before deciding against it
>Climb up and nudge her
"Sun's up, Georgia, we have no time to lose"

You cut the Arume's throat open with your knife before she can hold you down, her blood sprays all over you.
You then blow the other Arume's head off with your pistol.
Getting out of the truck, you see that there are Arume all over the camp.
they're all shooting in one direction, however.
But, they're in the way of the tank, so you can't get to it.

You nudge her awake and she stretches, before sitting up.
She speaks with a hoarse voice.
Georgia: "Y-yeah... I'm up."

Célia: "I won't ask..."
As you continue driving, you spot an airship tailing you in one of your wonky mirrors.
Célia: "Aww, come on! We can't catch a break!"

>Help her get down and try to find the way back to the road
"How did you sleep?"

"Fucking..."
>Get to any urban environment quick!

>Lay low and sprint to the trees since they’re occupied,make sure i have my dragunov with me

You help her down.
Georgia: "Pretty well, thanks. How about you?"
You both make it back to the road and begin walking down it again.

Célia takes pot shots at it as you drive.
After a bit, you make it out of the forest.
There's a small fielded area just before a town that's up ahead.
The airship fires a few shots at you after you're out of the forest before you make it into the town area.
The buildings are nothing like that of a city's, but they're tall enough to make it a pain for the airship to track you.

"Had a weird dream and fell off the tree, but it was pretty decent otherwise"
>Keep walking besides the road to the closest city
"Should be about an hour of walking from now on, right?"

>make a hard turn through the town and try to find an alleyway to hide in. If I do get out and break into the nearest building

She does a weak chuckle.
Georgia: "Haha, you fell out of the tree?"
You feel really hungry as you walk.
Georgia: "Yeah, I can't imagine we'll be anywhere anytime soon."

Driving through the town, you try to weave your way through old, abandoned cars that are on the road.
You end up crashing into one of them, smashing up your car even more and stalling.
However, there's an alleyway nearby if it's even of any use.
Célia: "Ah, mon Dieu... This place is a mess!"
She looks around frantically to try and spot the airship in the sky.
Célia: "They're coming right for us!"
You can hear the airship fly right over to your car.

"Yeah..."
>Grab a nearby stone so I can chuck it at an animal if I see one as I walk, or smash open a car's window
"I wonder... Just how did they find our base?"

"Fuck it! Run to the alley!"
>Cover her as we make it over

You grab a stone from the side of the road.
Georgia: "Fuck if I know... There's so much weird stuff going on right now, I feel lost."
There are cars that are broken and abandoned every now and again down the road.
You see a deer standing in some trees to the side of the road, munching on some grass.

DUBS
Célia: "Oui, Oui!"
You cover her as she runs from the car, firing at the Arume who's shooting from the airship, you even hit one.
Then, after she's safe, she covers you as you run over to the alley.
Célia: "Well, I think they're well and truly pissed off now..."

You wake up in virgin.
There are Arume sat around you as you're being transported in the back of an airship, still wrapped in the metal net.
One of them notices you gain consciousness.
Arume: "Heh, I can't believe they let a human like you get loose here... Unbelievable."

>Chuck the stone at the deer's head, and try to find a working car
"That makes two of us..."

"Well it's their fault."
>Bust into the nearest door.

"Go to hell"
>rip and tear the net and then the Arumes

You throw the stone at the deer's head, making it freak out and run away.
Georgia: "I wish I could just eat grass like that, it would be so much easier."
After a bit of walking, you spot a car that looks to be in better condition than most of the other cars you've seen.

Célia: "Oui, I won't deny that!"
You break through one of the doors in the alley into a building.
You find yourself in a small apartment.
The airship is still hovering above the street outside.

To the Arume's surprise, you tear open the metal net.
You feel weaker than before, but still really strong compared to a normal human.
Arume: "I-I thought we drugged him!"
Another Arume: "Shit, I guess it hasn't kicked in yet!"
They all go for their guns, but you mash the squad of soldiers before they can do anything.
Blood drips from every inch of the airship's interior, save the cockpit that's behind a door.

"Hide."
>Head to the upper levels and begin fortifying myself at the top of the stairs.

>smash the door in from the cockpit, grab any Arume I can, and jump out the window while screaming pop culture references

"Eh, it would. I wonder if the Arume bother killing off our animals to replace them with theirs, too... Let's go check out that car, it looks half-decent"
>Head to the car and see if we can get in

You both run upstairs and drag a dresser out there to use as cover, before hunkering down.
Célia: "It's been a while since I felt a thrill like zis..."

You smash into the cockpit and grab both of the Arume there, before shouting 'bazinga' and jumping out of the window.
The Arume scream as you fall.
Below, you can see a large Arume spaceship that you were flying above, it looks like the one you came down on.
You land on the Arume, killing them instantly, on top of the ship.
It's rather flat on top, you can see the bridge protruding from further down towards the rear, the rest of it just rounds off over the edge.

DUBS
Georgia: "I guess it depends on how different their animals are..."
The car looks to be in good condition and like it might work.
It's open and there are some keys in the ignition.

"Good, use it."
>Wait for them to start busting down the doors
"Hey, maybe if we're lucky that winged one won't come."

>Start the car up
"Get in"

>kick the cockpit's window in and drive the ship directly into the ground while screaming "OOGA BOOGA WOOGA WLWLWLWLWLW" to spook and distract the Arumes inside

Célia: "Well, that guy did say she's after him... Hmm, I wonder how he's getting on now."
You hear the Arume repelling down from the airship.
You count around five sounds, it's hard to tell exactly how many without seeing them.

It starts up and Georgia climbs in.
Georgia: "Well, this seems like a lucky find... But, it could be dangerous moving in a loud thing like this."
The car is low of fuel but appears to be working alright.

You can feel yourself getting ever weaker and closer to a normal human.
You kick your way through the bridge's front window, however, the ship is docked still and not going anywhere right now.
You can see all of the Arume who you slaughtered in body bags.
There are some crew members cleaning up the mess, some of them crying.
They look over to you confused and scared, some of them try to run.

"It could, but we're far enough from any populated areas... We should walk the last 15 minutes on foot"
>Drive off

"Here they come."
>Keep my rifle focused on the corner of the stairs, ready to fire.

Georgia: "Yeah, I mean, I'm not going to complain about getting to sit down... Wake me up when we get there."
She closes her eyes and gets some rest while you drive, she looks quite pale still.
After a good bit of peaceful driving, you see a city coming up ahead.
It's only about a mile or two out.

Célia readies her rifle as well and you both watch the stairs.
You hear the Arume enter the building through the door.
You hear their footsteps crunching on the dirty floor as they come closer to the stairs.
Then, you see a barrel, followed by a weapon and some arms, finally one of the Arume walks around the corner.
You both shoot her the moment you get a good shit, killing her quickly.
Arume, from in the apartment: "Fuck, no! She's hit! They're up the stairs!"

>take off, fly off as fast as possible and crash anywhere on the planet except for a desert

"Wake up, Georgia... We go on foot from now on"
>Grab anything mildly useful-looking from the car and open the door for her

“SHIT HOW DID THEY FIND US?”
>START BLINDFIRING ON THEM WHILE IN COVER

"Fuck off!"
>Focus again for the oncoming assault

You start hitting buttons and pulling levers at random in an attempt to take off.
After a bit, you manage to tear the ship away from the building it's docked at.
It flies forward for a bit, before losing altitude and crashing down in a field just outside of the city.
The ship shudders and makes a terrible scraping noise as it crashes and rolls onto its side.
You're unharmed by the crash.

There's nothing particularly useful-looking in the car.
Georgia wakes up.
Georgia: "Okay."
You both climb out.

Alyona: "Blyad, I have no idea! It was probably that thing Gyro brought with us!"
You blind fire over the log, but it's hard to tell if you hit anything and the Arume are all running for cover now.
You hear some other people start shooting, as well as Kruber's voice.
Kruber, shouting: "Everyone, wake up! The Arume are here!"
Alyona: "I need to make sure my brothers get out befo-"
There's a loud explosion that goes off as the tank explodes, its turret flying a few metres up it no the sky as the ammunition load is detonated.
Alyona, screaming: "N-n-no, no, NO! Vlad! Vlaaaad!"
She falls back, tears streaming down her face.
You see Fulldoddy slide over behind the log with you both.
Fulldoddy: "Lars, Alyona, you're alright. I don't know where they came from."

Arume: "Never, human! It's our duty to purge or convert all of you filthy creatures!"
You see a grenade bounce around the corner and up the stairs.
It goes off in front of you both.
It's a stun grenade that blinds you and leaves your ears ringing.
Célia: "Shit!"

You have your sniper on you.
Keeping low, you manage to sprint out into the trees, presumably unseen.

You also hear an explosion go off back in the camp's direction.

"Do you know this city?"

>Fire wildly down the stairs
>Back up and clear my vision

>gtfo as far away from the crash as I can run and then sleep the anti-drug drugs off

>Climb the nearest tree which gives me sight of the camp
>whip my dragunov and make a rough count of the arume attacking

“Alyona! They’ll pay for what they’ve done!”
>fire at them and then run to the rest of the tents to see if everyone’s alright
“Cover me I’m going to check on the rest!”

Georgia: "I can't say that I do. I'm not really that familiar with any of the area around here."
You both continue walking.
In the city ahead, you hear some shots cracking off from human weapons.
Georgia: "N-never a dull moment, eh?"

You let off some shots down the stairs to try and dissuade the Arume from coming up, before falling back into the bedroom to your side.
Your vision starts to come back and you see that Célia rolled into the room as well.
She's rubbing her eyes.

You climb out of the wrecked ship, landing in the fields below.
You feel your last bits of superstrength fade out and begin to run away, looking for somewhere to stay.
However, you can hear some Arume airships approaching the crashed spaceship and there's not a lot of concealment around.

You climb a tree and get a decent view of the camp area.
Down there, you can see that the tank has been blown up and there's an intense gunfight going on.
You count around ten or eleven Arume, there could be more who are hiding, but that seems to be most of them.
They're all trying to get to cover as they're now locked in a gunfight with the Resistance soldiers.

Alyona gets up against the log and begins firing wildly at them.
Alyona: "Fuck you! I'll fuckign kill you!"
Fulldoddy: "Rodger, I'll handle things here."
He does his best to aid Alyona in her rage.
As you go running to check on the others, you trip over on a tent and get your legs a bit tangled.
You can see Kruber and Faith taking cover and returning fire at the Arume.
An Arume sees you on the floor and turns to shoot at you.

>Shoot them all from the trees

"Stay behind me."
>Move any furniture too the door

>then try to untangle myself and move forward towards the rest

"Does the bad luck follow me, you, or us both? We decided to fight, but if this is just a skirmish we should probably ignore it and begin looking for the base straight away... Unarmed civilians would be a liability. Regardless, let's just take a look from afar for now.

You lock and load, before taking aim at the Arume.
However, just as you're about to fire, you feel the tree jolt and then it begins to lean.
The tree falls down, sending you tumbling across the floor.
Before you can fully get your bearings, you see Kirino standing over you with her sword drawn.
She cuts your rifle clean in half and puts a foot on your chest.
Kirino: "You know, I've been wondering. Why didn't you tell them about the trackers?"
She holds up the pad from before with the flashing lights on it in one hand while holding the sword, putting its point to your throat, with the other.
Kirino: "Not that it matters now, I'm just curious, is all..."

Célia: "Shit, shit, shit, shit..."
You both scramble to try and push some furniture in the way of the doorway, but you can hear the Arume running up the stairs.

You quickly fire at her with your pistol, hitting her in the legs.
She drops to the floor, struggling to point her gun at you.
Letting off a few shots, she barely misses you, with one of them skimming your right cheek, causing it to bleed.

Aw, shit nigga, the airships spot you running across the fields.
These aren't armed with the nets like before, but you're no longer superhuman right now, so they don't need to be.
You hear them opening fire at you.
There's a thick forest up ahead, however, but you're not near to it yet.

Georgia: "We don't even have any weapons..."
You hear her stomach groan.
Georgia: "...a-and I'm rather hungry. So, yeah, let's just try and find some people."

You continue chasing them with your squadmates.
After running up after them, you spot them leaving the forest up ahead, running for some armoured cars in a field.
Dimitri: "Look, they're running!"

>Aim for the wheels
"Don't let these cowards escape comrades!"

"Mhm, let's go. If I were part of a guerrilla, where would I hide my base?..."

"They're always either underground, in the outskirts or both, right?"

You stab her leg and shoot her un the stomach multiple times before she kicks the gun from your hands and falls backwards.
She grits her teeth and clutches her bleeding stomach.
Kirino: "H-haha... You ARE my mole... and that... that meathead friend of yours."
She coughs up some blood.
Kirino: "Ohoho, I wonder if they're dead yet?"
She struggles to her feet, supporting herself with her sword.
Kirino: "Come on, let's have some fun... My reward for being... such a good little tool."

You run towards the forest, nearly making it there.
The airships continue firing at you, but none hit yet as they're too far away.

You set up and begin trying to take out their tires.
However, you struggle to get ahold of the recoil at first as you shoot over a long distance.

You manage to finish her with a few more shots.
Then, checking the tents and camp area, you find Lyla, Hanako, Natasha, Jun, and the two engineers are missing.
Kruber, shouting out: "We can't hold them back for much longer, friends! We're outnumbered!"

They just continue to look around, trying to see where you are.
They look even more worried after you go silent.
Arume: "H-hello? Are you still there?"

Georgia: "I guess. Or in areas with a lot of vegetation, like thick trees."
You can't see any suitable areas from where you are right now.
It looks like there's a forest to the north of the city and some fields to the south.

Célia: "I'm trying..."
You both grab ahold of a wardrobe and shove it in front of the door.
You hear the Arume run-up and start banging on it.
Arume: "What are you playing at, dammit?!"
They start firing through the wardrobe, completely missing thee both of you.

>Move back and get behind some cover

>Readjust, then fire again, aiming for both ankles and tires this time

"I see. Let's head for that forest over there then, shall we?"

You fall back and get behind the bed, aiming at the doorway.
Célia joins you.
The Arume kick the wardrobe over, walking in with their guns ready.

You readjust your aim and quickly take out the vehicle's tires.
Tony: "Very good, Comrade! Now, let's clean them up."
There are four Arume in the field who're running for the truck.
After the tires were shot out, they started trying to find cover out there.

She wobbles and falls to her knees.
Kirino: "Yeah... I didn't feel like it, anyway..."
She falls on her face, blood running out onto the dirt.
Kirino: "I didn't know you carried a sidearm... I really fucked this one up. Make it quick..."
You blam her in the head with your 1911, killing her.

Georgia: "Sounds like a start..."
You both head over to the forest just north of the city.
The terrain is quite rough there, you hear the firing in the city stop soon after you arrive near the forest, too.
You don't find a base yet.

Kruber: "She's bleeding from her wound she sustained before, it's a real mess, so I'm doing the shouting! Friend, see if you can round everyone up, and look for those damn Arume we had!"
