Choose your pistol.
You manage to climb out of the muddy hole.
You're in a damp forest, it's cold.
The only thing you can remember is the Resistance and your old pal Gaston.
The forest is quite thick and is rather snowy too.
Not much light can get through the thick, snow-covered tree canopy.

You attempt to finish them off, but only manage to kill off the injured one.
The two remaining Arume dive for some cover behind some furniture and start shooting at you again.
Célia gets her weapon over the bed again and resumes shooting.

Man 1: "We were out on our scouting duties when they ambushed us."
Tony: "Perfect! Comrades, we were sent to find out what happened to you and help out, if possible."
Man 2: "Da, very nice."
You cut them free from their bindings and they both thank you.
Dimitri: "A mission well done, I suppose, Comrades."

Jun: "Y-yeah, maybe if you give me a hand..>"
Hanako pulls Jun to her feet.
Hanako: "Oh, come on."
She then turns to you.
Hanako: "We'll head to the far side of the lake, it's in the opposite direction of the gunfire. Come meet us when you're done."
Rem, to you: "W-wait, I'll come with you, I can still fight."
Jun: "Hey, I can still fight."
Hanako: "You can't move without anyone helping you..."
Jun: "Yeah, but Lars ca-"
Hanako, to you: "If you're not at the lake in around fifteen minutes, we'll run."
She heads off with Jun, Lyla, and Natasha.
Rem: "Sh-she's awfully commanding... Isn't she meant to be a prisoner?"

They jump as you call out to them and get behind cover, before realising that you're a man.
One of them pokes their head out.
Resistance Soldier: "O-oui!"

You dive out and quickly headshot seven of them, hitting a seventh in the back, making her drop to the floor in shock.
You then roll behind a tree, before reloading your pistol and unsheathing the sword in your off-hand.
You saw four more Arume alive over there.

"Very good job, this was fun! We head back to base now da?"

"Hmrgh, looks like I'm in some forest"
>get out of the forest and look around for any civilization

"We're trying to join up, where should we go?"
>If they don't into English then try to communicate in Catalan, since it's like 85% French.

You all start walking back to base.
Dimitri, to you: "Hey, Comrade, what were you doing before you joined the Resistance?"

Please choose a pistol, I'm begging you.
The ground is steep as it looks like you're on a mountainside.
You hear a loud explosion above you and soon see an avalanche coming down through the forest.

The man jumps up from behind the cover.
Resistance Soldier: "Magnifique!"
It seems they speak a bit of English.
Resistance Soldier: "Oui, oui, please follow, Madame and Monsuier..."
He gestures for you to follow him and the other soldier begins walking with him.
Georgia, to you: "Well, they seem friendly..."

You shoot through a dresser that one is taking cover behind and manage to kill her.
Célia injures the other one, before having to reload.
Injured Arume: "Aaaaaah, fuck you!"
Célia, while reloading: "If you're going to kill her, I'd do it now. She doesn't sound too happy..."

Rem: "Yeah, let's go."
You both run back to where the fighting is happening and see that a good few of the Arume are dead.
You can see four more still fighting at first glance.
Rem takes cover with Kruber and Faith.
Kruber: "Ahah! Rem! Does that mean Lars found you?"
Rem: "Yeah, he found us."
Faith: "Lars, is anyone else still missing?"

"Yep, I thought the French were more... Dour. This is a pleasant surprise"
>Follow them

"Hold on. Keep your gun focused on the doorway."
>Walk over to her with my gun raised.
"Alright. Why are you chasing us?"

uhhh my pistol is a Beretta M9

“I found hanako, lyla, Natasha, and jun as well. They’re hiding over at the lake.”

"Assuming you mean before tony found me, I was an antique arms dealer. I frequented Russia because of the high demand! Unfortunately, this all started on business trip, my stock is all back in New Mexico, and I don't think I'm getting there anytime soon eh? What about you Dmitri?"

Georgia: "Tough times and all, I guess..."
You catch up to them and they lead you through the city, soon coming to a large apartment building.
He motions his hands in the direction of the large building.
Resistance Soldier: "Zis... is home. Come, come."
He walks into the lobby and over to the lifts.
Georgia: "Is this the Resistance base?"
Resistance Soldier: "Oui! Follow, you will like zis..."

Célia watches the doorway.
You walk over to the Arume with your gun raised as she struggles to try and raise her gun to aim at you, but can't as her arm and shoulder have been shot up along with her legs.
Arume: "We saw some humans and so we chased you. That's all there is to it."

You try to run diagonally away from the avalanche, but trip and end up rolling down the mountainside diagonally instead.
You can feel your body getting bruised and beaten as you roll, but you're just about out-rolling the avalanche.

DUBS, 20
Geralt pops out from behind the last arume, quickly shooting all four of them.
It goes silent, with just one Arume crawling along the floor, injured.
Kruber, shouting to Geralt: "Haha! Geralt!"
He stands up and shoots the injured Arume, before walking over to him.

Kruber: "I'm glad you're okay, friend!
He pauses as he sees your bag and the sword.
Kruber: "Uh, that sword..."

Faith: "Okay, Gaston... It's all clear."
Faith slumps down against the log and Gaston comes out from cover to treat her wound.
Faith, to you: "Good... Now, the engineers, I-I think they were both called Bob..."
You then hear Fulldoddy call over to you from where he and Alyona were.
Fulldoddy: "Lars, you should probably get over here."
Faith: "Go, Lars. Uh, Rem, could you check the truck and the camp for them... I know they were always fiddling with that suit in the truck..."

Tony, to you all: "Go rest, or train, or... something, Comrades. I'll report to Artyom. I'm sure he'll be pleased."
Tony heads off and the rescued soldiers thank you all again, before leaving into the base.
Ivan: "Well, it sounds like it's food time, Comrades, eh?! Hehe!"

The soldier who hasn't spoken yet starts pulling the lift doors open, revealing the lift shaft.
Resistance Soldier: "Eeeeh... It's been... better."
They both climb onto a ladder in the shaft and start climbing down.
Resistance Soldier, on the ladder: "But we make do! Come!"

He looks at the head and screws his face up a bit, before pointing over his shoulder.
Kruber: "Back there with Gaston... Wasn't Kirino, umm, helping us..?"
Faith is being treated by Gaston behind a log.

Fulldoddy: "I'm sorry. I'm not very good with people."
He points at Alyona who's sat, hugging her knees to her chest crying.
Fulldoddy: "I'll go help elsewhere."
He walks off.

Célia: "It doesn't look like there are any more of them... But the airship is hanging around."

You head to the canteen with your buddies.
Dimitri: "Well, I hope you all like potato and MRE meat."
Ivan: "Haha, I wouldn't be here if I didn't!"
It's some chicken in gravy from an MRE and some mashed potato.

Kruber fumbles it around in his hands before dropping it.
Kruber: "A-ah, I don't think I want it..."
He looks back up to you.
Kruber: "Uh, I don't have it, go see Faith, I think she's got it."

Arume: "Heh, I can't even walk, how are you gonna manage that..?"
Célia walks over and kicks her gun away.
Célia: "To be fair, he never said you'd walk away today..."
Arume: "Fine... but you'll have to hold the communicator up to my head, I can't move right now..."

Georgia: "I think I can manage..."
She awkwardly wraps her other arm around it while holding on with her hand.
You all make it to the bottom, and one of the guys knocks on some doors down there.
After a second, they open.
A large, muscular man is standing on the other side who starts looking at both you and Georgia.
Man: "Eh?"
Resistance soldier: "Zey are English and, uh, want... to join."
Man: "Oho! Hello! It's not very often that we get visitors! Come in, come in..."
He speaks with a German accent and steps back, the soldiers step inside.

She keeps crying, managing to speak in between her weeping.
Alyona: "They're... gone..."

DUBS
You control your roll and manage to get clear of the avalanche by rolling behind some large boulders.
Your body is rather bruised, though.

"..."
>Move it up to her mouth.
"We're all trying to survive..."

''Listen,we need to see gaston asap,we are being tracked,this was all part of kirino plan,plant tracking devices on us and lead us straight to the resistance base,that's how they found us multiple times''

You fumble through her belt and find a radio-looking thing, before holding it up to her head and pressing the button on it.
Arume, into the device: "Hey... Second floor of the apartment building... blow it up..."
You hear the airship start moving and a voice responds on the other end.
Arume, through the communication device: "Rodger."
Célia: "Shit! Get back."
You see the airship move over in front of the bedroom's window as the Arume starts laughing.
Arume: "Ahahaha!"

Gaston is right there treating Faith's wounds.
Faith: "Huh?! Who's being tracked?"
Gaston: "H-how can I help?"

You get up and walk out of the forest.
You're in some snowy mountains by the looks of things.
There's no sign of civilisation just yet, only mountains.

You sit down and everyone starts eating.
It's not actually too bad.
Ivan: "Da, I know I'd be pissed if some Arume tied me up in the back of their van."
Dimitri: "You know, Comrade, it sounds kind of dirty when you put it like that..."
Ivan: "Dahaha, da, you're right. Maybe not so bad, eh? Hahaha!"
Dimitri, to you: "You're going to have a great time here, Comrade. Tony always brings back the right kind of people!"

He shakes your hand with a firm grip.
Emil: "Emil, nice to meet you."
He looks over to Georgia.
Emil: "And you, little lady..? Uh, actually you don't look too good..."
Georgia: "Georgia..."
She shakes his hand.
Emil: "Are you two okay? Did something happen?"

She doesn't hug you but leans on your shoulder as you pull her close.
Alyona: "Yeah..."
She doesn't seem very talkative.

"... Sadistic alien cat-eared "people"..."

"How do we go about joining the Resistance? Hiding and running simply... Doesn't seem to work for us"

Emil: "That sounds... rough... But, you can join right here!"
He holds out his arms to suggest the area you're in right now.
There are a few rooms off of the small concrete one you're in right now and there are a few piles of supplies laying around.
You hear Georgia stumble and lean up against a metal table behind you.
Georgia: "S-sorry... I'm just a bit tired."
Emil: "Ah, no problem."
He leans in and whispers to you.
Emil: "Hey is your wife okay?"

You continue to sit with her as she's whimpering.
After a bit, she calms down slightly.
Alyona: "Sorry... I want to be alone..."
She stands up, pushing your arm away, and walks off over to a tree.
Kruber walks over to you.
Kruber: "Sorry, bad time, I know. But, where are the others? The ones you found."
Even he sounds down.

You go to try and run out of the room, but the Arume uses the last bits of her strength to grab your legs.
Arume: "Oh no you don't!"
Célia sees and grabs your arm, trying to pull you away from her and out of the door.
Célia: "Ah, come on!"
But, before she can, you hear an explosion go off and the outside wall explodes, sending bits of brick and rubble flying into the room.
You both get pummeled and you can feel your body get injured from the shockwave.
The Arume is killed and you're thrown into the wall with some pieces of the wall.
Your head gets hit by a brick and you're bleeding from your head with lots of debris on top of you.
Your right wrist is stinging like a bitch too.

You hit a chewy piece of meat.
Dimitri: "Da, it's very clever. They cover the runway with camouflage to keep it hidden until the last moment before it's used. They way it's a bit harder to spot us! But, I'm pretty sure they've known where we are for a while now, but we make sure to keep them at a distance."

Faith: "Shit, how do you know?"
Gaston: "Oui, lift off your shirt... Do you know where it might be?"

"...Fucking... Celia!"
>Place my hand on my head wound and try to bring myself up, but before that check if i'm still whole

"Guess you could say they're too afraid to try anything serious haha!"

You have a banging headache, but appear to still be in one piece.
Célia doesn't reply, though.
As you raise your hand to touch your head, you feel a lot of blood running down your face.
Your left wrist feels like it's broken, too.
The airship sounds like it's still hovering outside.
You hear a voice over the Arume's communication device.
Arume, over the device: " Hello? Come in, squad leader. Guys?!"
It then goes silent.

The meat puts up a fight, but you manage to get it down.
Ivan: "Da, we try to squash any sign of them building up forces before they can manage to anywhere nearby."
You finish eating.
Dimitri: "Ah, that's the stuff..."

Kruber: "Good, okay... We'll wait here."
You make your way over to the lake and see the girls on the other side.
Jun: "Hey, where's everyone else?"

You threw the head to Kruber already, but he walks over and plops it on the log.
Kruber: "The details? What happened and why is your shirt off?"
Gaston looks around your body, before poking a spot on your upper back.
Gaston: "Zis looks promising... There has been a... Uh, an incision up here. It looks like they sealed it somehow very quickly afterwards with limited scarring. It's no wonder you didn't notice."

Emil: "Oh... Haha, I see..."
Georgia: "What are you two muttering about?"
Emil: "Uh, nothing... I'll just take down your full names and sex, then it's done. Nice and easy, eh?"
Georgia: "My last names Riley..."
Emil, to you: "You guys can head into there..."
He points to a doorway to the right.
Emil: "...and grab some food. What's your last name, Adrià?"

''Can you open it up right now?''

"Celia!"
>Keep looking around for her. Fuck the radio.

"Da, I agree. What now comrades? Surely the day is not completely over yet, no?"

“The vlads died in the tank... And we can’t find the two engineers. Did you guys see them anywhere?”

He pulls out some scalpels out of his medical bag.
Gaston: "Lay on ze log... Uh, away from ze head..."

You try to push your way through the rubble to find her, but you can't.
You hear the airship move down and land in the street.

Dimitri: "Now... We wait."
They both silently wait for a few seconds.
Dimitri: "But that is boring, eh, Comrades? So, let's go find something to do..."

Hanako: "So, you guys beat them?"
Hanako gives Jun a hand with walking.
Jun: "Huh, th-they're... dead? But... no..."
You feel Lyla hold onto your trouser leg as you walk.
Natasha: "I thought those engineers were always with that armour..."
After a bit, you make it back to camp.
Faith is laying down while Gaston is looking like he's about to do something to Geralt while Kruber watches.

You both hear Billy shouting and running over with Fulldoddy.
Billy: "Heeey! Hey, partners! It's Bobby! He's been shot, man!"
He stops as he sees all of the dead Arume and the destroyed tank.
Billy: "My God... Is everyone okay?"
Kruber: "What about his brother? Take me to them. Fulldoddy, Lars, start packing up the gear."
He leaves with Billy.

Emil: "Sorry, I haven't. We don't get many people around here..."
You support Georgia and begin walking over to the door.
Emil: "Oh, and she's not, uh... one of them, is she?"
Georgia: "No, I'm not a bloody Arume."
Emil: "Haha, right. Get some food in ya', then go get those wounds treated, you look like shit. Consider it a welcoming gift!"
He walks off through another door after noting down your names and such.

"Da, I don't want to sit around all day"
>Get up and sorta wander around with them

>Do as he says

>begin packing and Look over to see what Alyona is doing

"He seems nice... Come on, let's go eat"
>Go get some of whatever they're serving for us both

DUBS
You start packing the stuff up, you do a great job and get used to doing it with your one arm.
In fact, your arm is looking more swole than usual as you've been using it for everything for a bit now.
You and Fulldoddy both make quick work of packing up the tents and loading the truck.
Fulldoddy: "Now that's something I can deal with. Good work."
You look over to Alyona and see her leaning against a tree, looking out into the forest by herself.

You get some sort of meat and potatoes from the chef.
Chef: "New faces, eh? Well, Bon appetit..."
He sounds French but speaks good English.
Georgia: "Thanks..."

You all get up and wander around the base.
Dimitri: "Hmmm, there's not really much to do, though..."
Ivan: "Well, we could... Uh... Look at the tanks?"
Dimitri: "We have looked at tanks many times, but perhaps you'd like to see the tanks, Comrade?"
He asks you.

DUBS
You lay down on the log.
Gaston: "As I said, it might sting a bit."
Faith stands up to watch as you feel a sting where Gaston makes an incision along where he saw the older cut.
Gaston: "Aha... Sorry, again..."
You feel him poke some tweezers in and pull something out.
He holds it out in front of you.
Gaston: "That'll do it."
It's a tiny, black, pill-shaped object with a blinking, red light on it.
Faith: "To think they had that in you the whole time. You said there was one in Kruber, too?"
Gaston: "Alright, hold still, I've got to stitch it up now..."

You head downstairs and quickly move out the back entrance into the alleyway again.
You hear the clinking of bricks and rubble back in the apartment.
Then, a female voice calls to you from the entrance to the alleyway.
Arume pilot: "Why won't you die?!"
You see some shot zips past you as you turn to see her firing her pistol at you.
Then, you see a rifle poke out of the upstairs window, followed by a muzzle flash as the Arume's head explodes.
You hear Célia speak from up there.
Célia: "Geez, keep it... down... I was trying..."
She sounds in pain and you see her rifle fall out of the window, followed by her laying over the window frame, hanging out of the window, limp.
Célia: "...to sleep."
Blood is dripping from her head, but it's head to tell if that's the source as it's the lowest point from there.
She turns to see you.
Célia: "Ah, Carter... I got her."
She gives you a wobbly thumbs-up.

You all go to see the tanks, but none of the mare in right now.
Dimitri: "Blyad... There goes that..."
Ivan: "Maybe we should just go see Artyom and find out if he has anything for us to do..."

Faith is doing a bit better now that her stomach wound has been re-bandaged.
She sounds a bit hoarse when she speaks.
Faith: "Hey, I think that wound from before caused some internal bleeding... It'll be alright after a bit of rest. How are you holding up..? And... Alyona, too. I always told them that there were enough tents to go around..."

Célia: "R-right... Just keep my eyes open..."
You run upstairs and get to her.
There's a broken part of a brick that's stabbed into her stomach and she's had the side of her neck cut as well as the side of her head.
She's covered in blood and turns around, sliding down the wall to sit on the floor.
Célia: "I-I didn't think going on an adventure would be so... painful."

She scoffs some of it down.
Georgia: "Finally, some good fucking food... It's great."

Gaston stitches you up, it's sore.
Gaston: "Make sure it doesn't get dirty. You don't want an infection."

Geralt grabs the head and walks back to Faith with it.
She steps back from the head as he holds it.
Faith: "Yeah, I can see it just fine from here... I knew that bitch was up to no good. But, no, we just had to trust her... Fuck. this is bad. We've lost more people..."
She sits down.
Faith, to Geralt: "Did you get anything out of her before you kill her?"

''No only this''
''I told you spending time with meaningless activities such as catfighting would get us nowhere,shame we had to learn this lesson the hard way''
>Go to the tank and inspect it,try to deduce where the charges were planted

>That's not gonna come out clean.
"Stay with with me.

She coughs up some blood, spitting it out.
Célia: "The adventure is just... beginning..."

Georgia: "Definitely. Do you think they have comfy beds here? Hehehe..."

You sit down next to her.
Faith: "Yeah, sorry... I should've done something when Gyro and Kruber came back with that device..."

You give her the bandages and rush down to the airship.
There are a lot of compartments inside and you don't find any medical supplies yet.

Georgia: "I was just joking, I'm sure their beds will be fine. Those ones we had back at the house weren't too bad, really..."
You both finish up.
Georgia: "I doubt they'll just show up out of nowhere. We were probably just unlucky"
She stands up.
Georgia: "Okay, I'm going to see if they have a doctor or something somewhere.

She laughs and leans her head on your shoulder.
Faith: "Hehe, where did that come from? Anyway, I order you to... Umm, you've kind of got me on the spot now..."

The top of the tank has warped outward towards the turret that's been blown clean off, the ammunition load detonated.
The turret itself is laying next to the tank upside down on the floor.
The entire tank is burning.

You can only see a few charred pieces like they were blown apart from the blast.
It smells pretty bad too.

You keep going through all the compartments and eventually stumble across a set of medical supplies.
It'#s got everything you could need from bandages to painkillers and even some small blood bags.

Georgia: "Shove a tracker in you? Where? Besides, I think they were planning on killing us. You can have the doctor check you out to be sure."
Georgia asks were you can both get medical attention and he points you both in the right direction.
You step into a small room with an old mattress on a table and medical supplies all over the place.
There's a woman in there who looks up at you both as you enter.
Woman: "Oh, hello. I don't believe we've met before..."
You can see her eyeing up Georgia's wounds and her missing hand.

Faith: "Hey, that'ds a good shout. Should we go check? Either way, a walk could help take our mind off of things."
