datamining shiteating name and tripfagging americunt off yourself

exactly my point
your "it's made of aluminium so it's better" argument is invalid

Its not an argument, its a statement. Apple computers have the highest build quality, literally industry leading..

Also guess how much this cost

>highest build quality
top kek, they used to be good but now their stuff is practically designed to break down within a year

Good design means balanced compromise. Apple are simply the best designers. I don't mind if making everything better means losing a few years of longevity - simply because I'll buy a new one in less than 3 years anyway because I care about technology so I only used the latest and greatest.

nigga just get the hardware and pirate the os if you want to use it never actually buy an apple product its like a 200% markup for everything

Sure I could build a house myself and it might cost less but I have the money to pay professionals to do it, likewise buying from apple isn't so expensive when you consider your getting the worlds best computers from the worlds best computer manufacturer.

Apples are built secure, why do you think they can't get viruses like windows shit? Your hacked pirate pajeet system will be riddled with viruses and spyware.

Honestly, I like the idea. Might have some old legos in the basement of my moms home. Visit her today again to take them with me.

Have you glued (most of) them together? You screwed the motherboard into the case, right? Have you made it have grids on the back and side so airflow can move through? Is the bottom open?

>best designers
their computers have all looked exactly the same since around 2007
>making everything better means losing a few years of longevity
if it breaks down easily, that's clearly bad design - it's like calling a reliant robin a design classic
>I'll buy a new one in less than 3 years anyway because I care about technology so I only used the latest and greatest.
it's not the 90s anymore, advancements in computer technology move along at a snail's pace - i could go 7 years without buying a new computer and i'd be fine
besides, i like to keep all my old computers, they'll be worth something one day - and on that day they'll still be working, unlike your crapple fagbook

found the phoneposter

Why do windows and Linux kids associate their computers with toys like lego? Its honesty pretty silly, not all windows users are kids however but almost all don't know how to actually use windows and are just forced to use it because they don't know any better.

My computer is a tool like a drill is to a plumber and I don't have time to play around, I need the best tool for the job and that's almost always going to be an apple.

you are right i just didn't want you to have one so i could have all the valuable top class apple computers to myself

>their computers have all looked exactly the same since around 2007

Why change a winning formula? Everyone loves the apple look, so much that its absolutely a status symbol. Sleek, elegant and functional the apple look is near perfect.

>if it breaks down easily, that's clearly bad design - it's like calling a reliant robin a design classic

A Ferrari is the peak of vehicle design, peak performance and beauty. To achieve this its not built with 30mm steal plate armour. Its built simply to be the best on the moment. Apple is like the Ferrari of tech.

>it's not the 90s anymore, advancements in computer technology move along at a snail's pace - i could go 7 years without buying a new computer and i'd be fine

Iterative improvements are stable improvements, and yet apple manage to push the limits every generation. If you don't care about leading tech then I understand but I do, and its a small price to pay for the experience

>besides, i like to keep all my old computers, they'll be worth something one day - and on that day they'll still be working, unlike your crapple fagbook

You can sell your relics in 10 years and make $50, I will have made 100x what I've spent on apple computers in the same period and while using said computers. They pretty much pay for themselves.

>Did you intend to reference me?
If only to understand why you would waste your time with Linux/ Lego - I just want to understand the mindset

gaming

>Have you glued (most of) them together?
no glue, as long as you have a sturdy internal construction it'll be solid as a brick (pun intended)
>You screwed the motherboard into the case, right?
i'll admit, it's a raspberry pi 3b+ inside - and there are no screws, but clever placement of certain bricks holds it very secure
>Have you made it have grids on the back and side so airflow can move through?
yes, using technic bricks - it also has two fans, and the cpu averages 32 degrees c
>Is the bottom open?
no, the bottom and top are 32x32 baseplates - the top one is on hinges so servicing it is easy

if you're ever in the market for lego, i recommend bricklink.com or joblots on ebay if you just need a bunch of random pieces

Its being sold as a collectors item, not a computer. Apple is an extraordinary company and people will pay any price to share in its history. And Its not even worth much, compare to the current leading edge laptops in 2019... Even these are a bargain all things considered.

I'm not really that guy who bases all his doings with some deep shit, but:
Why do people do things at all?
I just wanna do shit before I die. Tbh we're both retarded to waste our time on this website.

Its not a waste if I'm teaching people financial sense, its somewhat a social duty...

Being an adult means putting down the Lego and picking up responsibilities. You do these things because being a productive member of society is self-rewarding and in return, society rewards you with its luxuries, like apple products.

>Apple is an extraordinary company
correction: was
macs are no longer status symbols, they are associated with basedboys, hipsters, starbucks, millenials and buzzfeed journalists
>I'm teaching people financial sense
ye ye, buy the mac, it's more expensive than the pc but those with an iq under 70 say it looks cool

Financial sense is keeping your money in the right places and studying the right things to later be able to do shit that brings money.
I have done both or do both from monday to friday and sometimes even on saturday. On the weekend, I don't do things because I need to, but because I want to. And I want to build a case with lego.
I don't get why you think people should spend money or time only to make more money, be more efficient or buy luxuries.
I spend around 80% of my money on work, rent, food, my savings account, gold/shares/cryptocurrencies and 20% on things I like to do in my leisure time. I also spend 80% of my time on work and 20% on my leisure time.
And what's great about the lego case is, that it doesn't require my money but just my time. And that time is technically free, because it's not time I require to get money.
