Ivan: "Da. And, they're all good soldiers. I'm sure they... that they can pull through."

Nishima kicks you off and launches herself at your sister, knocking her over.
She draws her sword and your sister screams.

You keep watching.
Gaston, from inside the truck: "Erm, Geralt, zis metal suit... You used it before, oui?"

The soldier leads you all over to the doors to a lift shaft, before prying them open.
Soldier: "Come on..."
He climbs onto a ladder in there and starts climbing down a floor.
Faith: "Kruber, get down there, we'll pass the supplies down to you."
Kruber: "Haha! Right away!"
Everyone climbs down, passing any supplies down to Kruber, who sets them on the floor.
The soldier opens a metal door down there, revealing a small, underground area with concrete walls.
A large man walks over.
Man: "Eh, more people?"
Soldier: "Yeah, they're not here to join, though..."
Man: "Uh, okay. Well, my name is Emil, nice to meet you all!"

“I might have, why you ask”

>nod at the man
“You as well.”
>look around the place

"Yo. Don't mean to be rude, but where is the nearest medic? Me and my friend here are a bit fucked up."

"I see, so there all there is to do is wait for a little while. Do you think it's safe for me to get a little nap in comrades?"

Gaston: "Ah, you know, I've only seen it in the tent, broken. So, I was just a little intrigued, I suppose... Are you going to use ze suit again... err, if it gets fixed?"
Keeping watch, you see some human aircraft flying in the distance.

Carter asks about a medic.
Emil: "Oh, ah, yeah..."
Faith: "We've brought you guys some supplies, hoping you could treat our badly wounded in return. We're part of a Resistance group who's passing through the area, I'm Captain Faith Grove, leading the unit."
Emil: "Oh, yes, of course! erm, make yourselves at home, just set the supplies down somewhere in here..."
Faith: "Right, but we don't plan on staying for too long."

Emil: "You, erm, come with any other wounded personnel you have, I'll show you to our doctor... You guys have been through some tough times, eh?"

Looking around, you see that it's a rather plain room that you're in, but there are a few tunnels that lead into some other areas.
Kruber, lugging the supplies inside: "Haha! Friend, shall we see if they have anything to drink? I could do with a good sit down..."
Faith: "Yeah, I imagine your ass is sore from that bumpy truck..."
Kruber: "Errr, more like numb... Haha!"

You Sister: "Noooooooooo! Wait, please!"
You try to get up and stop Nishima, but she's too quick.
You see the sword plunge down and jolt awake, in a hot sweat.
It sounds like people are talking somewhere else in the base, a lot more than usual.
That's the problem with it being underground and made of concrete, you can hear everything...

Ivan: "There..."
He points over to some bushes.
Ivan: "We could have two people nap for a bit while the other two keep watch, then swap. Once we're all rested, we can set off. Eh, Comrades?"
Dimitri: "Da, I'm beat... Not sure if I could sleep right now, though..."
Ivan: "Eston, Tony, we'll keep watch if you two want to catch up on some rest."
Tony: "Ah, much appreciated, Comrade."

You follow, along with Célia and Faith, for her stomach wound.
Emil: "Damn, we had some other people come here not too long ago as well, they looked half-dead too."
Célia: "Damn... I guess things are really rough in the Resistance..."
He leads you over to a door and opens it, revealing a small room with a woman in it who's sat at a metal desk.
Emil: "Erin... Try not to get too excited, but we have a few other travellers who need some assistance. Can I count on you? They brought some more medical supplies too, good stuff, by the looks of it."
She looks over.
Erin: "Th-three of them? Oh my... Erm, you..."
She points at Célia.
Erin: "You come first, the rest of you wait outside, we won't be a moment!"
Célia: "O-okay... Thanks."
Célia walks in and closes the door.
Emil: "Don't worry, she'll be quick!"
Faith: "Yeah, thanks..."
Emil walks off as Faith leans up against the wall.

You and Tony move into the bushes, before laying down and dozing off.
You're confronted with a dream.
It's cold and you're surrounded by a flat, snowy wasteland.
Flakes of snow slowly fall from the sky.

Kruber: "Ah, yes, I'm looking forward to this. Let's get our hopes up, friends... by raising a glass!"
The only other people with you is Bobby the engineer and Hanako.
Bobby still looks sad but comes with you guys to get a drink regardless.
Hanako comes as well.
You all find the cafeteria and the guy managing it gives you all some beers before you guys take a seat.
Hanako: "Well, at least Jun isn't here this time."

You see Georgia poke her head around the corner into your sleeping area.
Georgia: "O-oh, you're awake... D-did you have a bad dream by any chance?"

Gaston, from inside the truck: "Ah, o-okay!"
He lays down inside of it.
Jun, from inside of the truck: "Hey, what's going on!"
You run for cover behind some bushes and go back to watching the airships from there.
Nothing happens yet.

"...Yeah, sorry about that whole leaving thing. Lars seems to be upset about it."

You start walking through the snow.
After a bit, you see a large cave emerge from the thick snowfall ahead of you, with a warm, orange light illuminating from within it.

Faith: "Hmm... I'm sure you had a good reason. Who's the girl?"

Georgia: "Uh, n-no, just muttered a little..."
She steps out into the doorway.
Georgia: "I think some other Resistance people just arrived, everything got a bit loud, so I couldn't sleep... I mean, I've slept enough recently, anyway. Hehe."

DUBS
You down your beer, while avoiding eye contact with Hanako, and Kruber slams his down as well.
Kruber: "Well, he did say he was coming back, right? I mean, it's bad timing that what happened did while he wasn't there... But, we have plenty of people with us, even if we don't want them here. right, Hanako?"
Hanako: "Err..."
Kruber: "Gahahahaha! I'm pulling your leg, hahaha!"
He gets you both another beer as the other two drink theirs slower.
Hanako: "Can you two really keep your wits about you while you're drinking that fast..?"

"A friend I made along the way shortly after I left. I'd probably be dead by now without her. Hey, I met that winged Arume again."

>Go into the cave and investigate the light source

“Still, you can’t just leave when you feel like it. This is war.”

“Also they were TECHNIQUES. You didn’t have to try and snap my neck!”

"Ah, I'm glad."
"True, we HAVE been sleeping a lot. Then again, what else can you do when you're bleeding out? "

Faith: "The one from the aircraft carrier? Damn. Did you talk to her or something? How'd it go down?"

You walk into the cave and see a small fire burning there, all alone.
There's not a soul in sight.
It's warm, though.
You can hear the wind picking up outside, bringing a howling sound, that echoes through the cave.
The snow falls thicker.

Kruber: "Yes, I agree. Let's hope he has a good explanation... Anyway, it seems he picked up a girl along the way, eh, eh?"
Hanako: "Huh?! What are you on abou-... Y-you... I don't want to talk about it..."
You drink and feel Kruber nudge you.
When you look at him he smiles and impersonates her scream.
Kruber: "Kyaaaa! Bahaha!"
Hanako pulls an irritated face and slams her drink in response.

The airships are landed on the ground, doing nothing.
Everything remains clear.
Rem, shouting over: "Hey, erm... Is everything okay?!"

Georgia: "Sure, I'm not too fussed. I could use some conversation to take my mind off of things..."
You can hear some loud laughter coming from the canteen's direction.

''Quiet''
>Keep watching,waiting to see what they do

>Take shelter and warm up by the fire

"Actually no. She was bust fighting this dude who was matching with her blows before flying off with him. Like something out of a superhero movie."

"Okay, then"
>Head over to the canteen to go greet them

(The airships are your friendly ones. The flying things you saw were human aircraft, presumably being piloted by the Resistance.)
She goes quiet as you keep watching the airships.
It's clear.
Jun: "Hey, wanna hear a joke?"

The fire gets blown out by the wind, everything goes very dark, but not quite pitch-black.
You hear footsteps behind you, towards the cave's entrance.

Faith: "She did what? Have you been drinking?"

You head over to the canteen and see that there are four new people there.
A large man, who looks similar to Emil, a woman with long, black hair, and two normal looking men.
They throw their drinks up in a toast to what appears to be some of their fallen comrades.

Kruber: "To all of our fallen allies! If the Arume want to stop us, then they'll have to kill us!"
You throw up your glasses and Bobby does, too.
Hanako: "Geez, it's no wonder you guys give them so much trouble..."
Hanako half-heartedly toasts as well and you all drink.
You see a man and woman enter the room together.

''No''
>Get out from hiding and resume guarding this shit fuck of an airship

"Who's there?"
>turn around

Jun: "Awww... But I'm bored."
You go back to watching the airships from the truck.
Jun: "Do you mind if I take a nap, then? I'm kind of tired..."

You turn around to see a female figure standing there.
It's too dark to be able to make out any features.
Woman: "Don't worry, I mean you no harm."
She's standing a few metres away.
Woman: "Are you sheltering from the cold in here?"

"More new people? Did something happen ?"

"I swear on my mother's grave. Shit like that is so surreal. Worst part is I think she may recognize me."

“Just passing by, we’ll be leaving soon.”

"I was, but it seems that's not entirely possible anymore. Who are you?"

"Got it. Have fun, then, and watch out for catgirls... I'm serious, don't let those things near you."

You pocket a bottle of beer for Alyona.

Faith: "Yeah, you were the only one who she looked at and talked to directly on the ship..."
You hear the door open to your side and Célia walks out.
She's all cleaned up and has fresh, good bandages on.
Célia: "Phew, she's really good..."
Erin, from inside the room: "Okay, the man can come in next, he looked pretty bad off..."

You don't know exactly where they went, but you can radio them.
Jun: "Yeah, wake me when we're leaving..."
She shuts up.
Gaston: "I believe it was to ze base. They're probably getting fixed up before they leave. That friend of yours was in pretty bad shape."

Woman: "Hmmm, no one in particular. I was just out on a stroll. You should be careful not to freeze to death..."
You can feel yourself getting very cold.
Woman: "I'll be on my way now, farewell."
You suddenly wake up to Ivan's voice.
Ivan: "Comrades, wake up! The blizzard has gotten worst, it's on top of us now!"
You see that there's snow flying everywhere and the bushes are swaying violently in the strong winds.

"Blyad, we gotta get out of here."
>Get up
"We keep going south da?"

"Nice. Stay safe, you two."
>Head into the room.
"So I'm ninety percent certain I have a few broken ribs and I'm certain that my wrist shouldn't be able to bend this way..."

''Hold on a sec''
>Radio faith
''Where the fuck are you? we're sitting here like ducks''

“Huh?”
>“The fuck is this nigga on.”
“You two wanna join us for some drinks?”

"They're truly the most heinous of beings, and- Whatever the fuck, I'll shut up."
>Take a seat along with Georgia, prepare to outdrink the fuckers

Dimitri: "Da, da. Anything that'll get us away from the Arume and out of this blizzard!"
Tony gets up as well.
Ivan: "I didn't think it was winter yet..."
Tony: "It isn't, Comrade... It's too early."

She examines your wrist.
Erin: "Okay, let me clean up your head first..."
She wipes your head wound and cleans it up, spraying some disinfectant on it.
Erin: "D-does it hurt?"

Faith, over the radio: "We're at there base now, getting our soldiers treated. Is everything okay, are you under attack?"

Hanako, the girl with long, black hair, looks over to Adria.
Hanako: "Did you say 'cat girls'? Man, it's been a while since I saw one of them..."
Kruber, the muscular man, gets a drink for Adria and Georgia.
Georgia: "Uh, thanks."

"Alright, south it is! We can't get too caught in this strange snow, otherwise we'll face a very cold fate eh?"
>Start moving south, or anywhere away from the cold really

"Yeah. Getting slammed through a wall by an explosion isn't a pain your body is just gonna forget. Still feel my bones rattling."

“What? They’re real? Why the hell do you guys have cat girls?”

“Where is it, i need to know where you are in case we get attacked”
>follow the directions she gave me

"You've seen them? My condolences"
"Thank you, uh... What's your name?"

You all set off, moving south.
Tony: "Da, Comrade, let's get the fuck out of here..."
The blizzard starts to thin up as you move further south.
It's not so bad now.
Dimitri: "Blyad, the nearest Resistance base is pretty far away, huh?"
Ivan: "Da, we'll have to walk for a short while..."

She squeaks and squirms slightly.
Erin: "S-slammed through a wall?"
She starts gently wrapping a bandage around your head.
Erin: "O-okay, shirt off, let me take a look at your ribs..."

Hanako, to Adira: "Hanako, and yours?"
Hanako, to you both: "Like I'd know, they've been around longer than me. Probably fetish reasons or something dumb, though. But, they're just like normal Arume, if you ignore their ears and tails..."
You all drink, Adria chugs his.

Faith: "Uh, there's a large office-looking building, it's taller than the others, you can't miss it. Head down the elevator shaft in the lobby area, you can find the base there. Did you get all that?"

"Da, at least we're not travelling alone. Least we're safe for the time being."

“I see.. we should finish up soon. We gotta head out.”
>try to finish my drink fast so we can keep travelling

"Yeah-"
>Take it off
"After this one Arume was defeated she told her pals to blow up the whole room with her in it. Then boom, next thing I know I'm hit by flying bricks and I'm missing more blood than I have in my life. Worst part about it is that I don't even know how much I may have lost since I never bandaged myself."

“Sure”
>turn off radio
“Gaston take care of this ship for a second ok”
>make my way to the base she told me

DUBS
You continue walking.
Dimitri: "Mmm, having Comrades helps a lot."
After a bit, you guys clear the blizzard and head back into the sun.
Ivan: "That's more like it."
Tony: "Okay, let's head east from here and try to reach the next Resistance base."

You finish up drinking.
Kruber: "Faith will probably come out when they're ready. But, it's probably best if we don't drink these guys dry..."

Erin: "B-by bricks? Blood everywhere?!"
She's breathing more heavily than before and has gone a bit red in the face.
Erin: "Your b-blood has congealed, so you're not bleeding too much anymore. And, umm, y-yeah it looks like you've got a few broken ribs, but there's nothing I can do about them, sadly..."
She reaches out and gently holds your broken wrist up, making sure not to hurt you.
Erin: "Okay, I'll put a brace on this, just give it time to heal and don't move it around too much afterwards..."
She wraps a brace around your broken wrist, holding it in place.
Erin: "Right, give your ribs a chance to heal whenever you can, too. Laying down will help, and absolutely no doing sit-ups... Same with your wrist, try not to use it too much. "
She sits back.
Erin: "You're free to go, just take it easy."

Gaston: "Eh, s-sure... I'll wake up the girl..."
You follow her instructions and end up climbing down the lift shaft.
You come to a metal door, you can hear people talking on the other side, men.

"Adrià. So either the ones I've been dealing with were different or they were bullshitting, huh?"

"Sounds like a plan, the sun is always a welcome sight."
>Turn eastward and start moving

"Got it, thanks for the work, doc."
>Walk out and go exploring

“Yeah.. I’m still thirsty though. Might be because I’m nervous to see if this man even exists or not. If he doesn’t all this work was for nothing. And I’ll never be the soldier I once was...”

You begin walking east when you hear the sound of Arume airships approaching.
Ivan: "Blyad, we can't catch a break..!"
Tony: "Quick, find some cover, Comrades!"
They all scatter, looking for some bushes.

You see her gathering up the dirty rags she used to clean your blood off with and tidying up her desk as you get up to walk out.
Erin: "No problem."
You open the door to the room and hear her take a deep breath behind you.
Faith and Célia were chatting outside.
Faith: "Hmm, all done?"
Erin, from inside the room: "Okay, I'm ready for the last person, now!"
Faith heads in.
Célia: "That doctor's nice, isn't she?"

You're all out of drinks :(
Kruber: "Ah, yeah... That would suck. How did you find out about him in the first place?"

You open the door and see a soldier talking to a large, muscular man.
The large man looks at you as you open the door.
Man: "Err, hello? Are you with... Um, Faith, I think her name was?"

"Shit"
>Dive for a bush

You make it over and into a bush.
Two airships fly past, causing the forest to sway as they do so.
As they fly off, you're all in the clear again.
Tony: "They must be looking for survivors."
Dimitri: "We'll have to be careful not to get spotted."

"Friends? They almost killed me thrice... Nishima, Hibiki and Miki, they called each other. They both seemed subordinate to this Miki woman, and she had claws for some odd reason... Just what's a Messenger, by the way?"

“Where is she?”
>walk to where she is

"Damn, we'll have to be on high alert then"
>Continue on again, but slower and more carefully

"A bit odd to be honest, but it's whatever. How are you?"

“When I travelled with faith to that meeting with all the officers, there was an old man that told me about him. And he gave me a bolt with a chain on it for some reason to show it to him.”
>pull it out and show it to them

Hanako: "Hmmm, 'Miki'. I think she's the Messenger, it would explain the whole 'claws' thing. They're Arume with... unique... powers, said to be blessed by the Heavens. But, it's hard to believe that's the case, right?"
Georgia: "Are you drunk?"
Hanako: "I can hold my drink just fine, thank you."

You all carefully continue onwards, making a small bit of progress.
Dimitri: "Hey, you know. I saw something strange while we were fighting back there... It was like, an Arume in a fancy coat who was walking with the soldiers."
Ivan: "Like, their leader?"
Dimitri: "I don't know, Comrade, maybe, but I don't see why she'd be with them on the front lines if she was..."

Célia: "Odd? Well, I'm feeling better now, she gave me some painkillers and everything. All I need now is a good rest, I'm beat."

You pull out the bolt on a chain.
Kruber: "Huh, sounds like a weird guy, haha!"

Man: "She's probably being treated right now, did you need something?"

>examine the bolt and chain. There must be more to it

"What? She didn't act a bit weird during your turn in?"

"I saw her too! It was a strange sight indeed comrade. She must have something that made her confident enough to be so close to the front, no?"

''Yes i need to get inside the base to see what the hell is happening while we're being made sitting ducks outside''
>Get inside the base

"No place deserving the name "Heaven" would bless those murderers... But I can believe it. I've seen equally weird shit..."
"Georgia, you've seen it too, haven't you? The man with the flames and that winged Arume that was looking for him"

It's just a metal chain with a metal bolt on it.
The chain is just long enough for it to be able to be worn around your neck.
You see that Geralt walks into the room.

Célia: "I-I don't think so..."
She starts thinking about it.
Then, Faith opens the door and walks out of the room.
Célia: "Th-that was fast!"
Faith: "I just needed this wound cleaned and a proper bandage put on it. Let's get going, we've been here long enough."
She turns back to Erin.
Faith: "Thanks for everything!"
She waves her off and begins walking away.

Dimitri: "Hmm, maybe? But, I don't have a clue what it might have been."
You all arrive at the edge of the forest, looking out across a set of rolling hills, covered in grass.
Tony: "Hmm, we're making good progress, but crossing that without getting seen is going to prove difficult..."

Man: "O-okay..."
You head through some random door and find yourself in a cafeteria-looking place.
You can see Kruber, Hanako, Bobby, and Lars sat at a table, waiting.

Kruber: "Ah! Geralt?! Is everything okay?"

Georgia: "Uh, yeah... We've seen some weird shit..."
You piqued Hanako's interest, as she leans slightly closer.
Hanako: "An Arume with wings and a man with fire, huh? Where were they?"

"We'll talk about it later."
>Begin following Faith
"So how did you guys get an airship?"

"...Next city over, and the winged girl should be heading North. Why?"
>Thonk about why the fuck she'd care about their location more than anything else

>stop
"We can't risk getting seen...we can wait until nightfall, at least we may fare the cold better than arume guns."

''What the hell is going on here''

You both follow her.
Faith: "It was Kirino's, we believe. After we fended off an attack from her soldiers, we managed to find it. Rem and Hanako are flying it for us. A fair amount has happened while you were gone, it's no surprise Lars was angry. We'll have to talk about it later, though."
You guys walk into a cafeteria-looking area, where the rest of the guys are.
You can see them sitting at a table and Geralt standing in the doorway, for some reason.

Hanako: "Oh, uh, w-we ran into a winged Arume before and Rem, a girl who's with us, talked about some man with a fiery monster or something... That's all."

Ivan: "Maybe, but we shouldn't count on it."
Tony: "Okay, let's settle down in some bushes, we'll sleep until night time, Comrades."
They all find a spot to rest.
Dimitri: "Ah, fine by me... The adrenaline is starting to wear off now..."

Kruber: "We're waiting for Faith, Carter, and that girl to get patched up."
You see Faith walk into the room with Carter and the girl.

Faith, to Geralt: "Geralt?! Are they under attack? why didn't you radio us?!"

''No 'i'm just wondering why the hell are we wasting time here when we could be moving on towards our objective''
''Finish up whatever the fuck are you guys doing and let's get moving,this place gives me the creeps''
