Have you ever thought about how many detail and mind boggling amounts of work went into everything that surrounds you? All the necessary technology to make your everyday living - from designs on food package, through carpentry techniques that allowed your furniture to exist, ending at technology advanced machines, such as PC or a smartphone. It's all fruits from a hundreds year old mankind tree - some roots and branches reaching up to a few thousand years..! And yet, here we are. Sad, unfortunate, with minds unprepared to jump from evolution into revolutions. Do you think we have lost something crucial during that development..? Values that were there for a reason and cannot be substituted?
Henlo Yuuka Honestly I think anyone at any time in history would have assumed that they had the best existing technology. It's certainly a blessing that we have great technology in the modern world but I think it's important to feel comfortable with ourselves beyond technology. Much selective breeding of humanity has happened since then leading to the increased intelligence we display today. It would be a very interesting experiment though..

A bit, but humanity is going into the exactly opposite way. Bigger chances of survival equal to more people, which means that a lot of people can fuck with a lot of people. We could argue that with this phenomena everybody has an increased pool to chose from a perfect partner, which wouldn't be false.
It leads to a more diverse population without much inbreeding, leading to healthier stock. It's also important to account for our population's excess leading people to choose not to reproduce. This test board of a world is certainly going through interesting times.
