On Jow Forums there is a putinbot who deletes absolutely everything that makes Russia look bad or is at risk of making Russia look bad. He's been doing it for months and now everyone on Jow Forums knows about him and the lads are spamming these monkeys.
I came here to complain about him as early as November 2018 back when almost no one on Jow Forums believed me. It feels great to see everyone posting anti-Russian things now to piss off janny.

We have daily threads and gayposting plaguing us despite PD and CockEyes’s efforts, but I guess the main difference is that Jow Forums is a slow board whereas Jow Forums is a fast board. Too hard to keep track of everything I suppose. What other things do you guys have that isn’t complete cancer? I know /flag/ is a thing that even supports Jow Forums, but that’s the fullest extent of my knowledge.

All newspapers eventually meet their end once people lose their motivation or lack stuff to report on, but I definitely see your point. Keeping such a high standard probably has a degree of stress to it, even if it’s done just for fun for a Jow Forums board.
I’ve no real qualms with it outside of that. The articles are good and the design is smooth, though maybe that’s the Daily Fishe’s creator’s doing.

We have a lot of gayposting too, but that died down a little during the five month image rangebanning of Finns that for me ended just today. Finns are notoriously the biggest gayposters on Jow Forums.
Most threads are off topic, just shitposts or usually Jow Forums-tier blogposts.
Then there are map painting threads about what countries are based and what are not etc.
And country hate threads as well as threads where OP tries to make two countries fight each other, for example Finland vs Sweden or Japan vs Korea. Sometimes countries get into serious fights with each other.
But I like Jow Forums for its memes. I love how Jow Forums uses memes. There is no politics behind it, no real beliefs or opinions, it's just a use of some meme created by someone else in a way with no rules. Everything is ironic and everyone there is friends with everyone even though we get into arguments sometimes.
It's just a big circlejerk, someone makes a post that others find funny and the others all respond with "based". When I make a post that they like and they say "based" it makes me feel so happy. It's the best board.

Memes keep a board alive and thriving, it keeps people in a fun mood. That’s the main difference between places like Jow Forums, Jow Forums, and /pol9k/ I feel. /pol9k/ uses depressing, outdated memes and people forget what it’s like to enjoy new memes.

That’s way better than Jow Forums. We’re so divided by namefag drama and a lack of unity and willingness to have fun that people have forgotten what makes this board special. There are many gems here despite all that though, and good threads that involve Jow Forums as a whole rather than a small segment of it get lots of much-deserved attention.

There was a janny who went absolutely wild, but this was like a year ago. He banned everyone and deleted everything. But he didn't last very long. He's gone now.
The image rangeban was weird, it didn't include all of Finland and the gayspammer had his rangeban lifted at least twice during my five month rangeban.
I was also rangebanned on other boards like /a/ and Jow Forums but another Finn who was rangebanned on Jow Forums wasn't on Jow Forums.

Exactly, its just the same thing but a little different over and over but I like it, it's relaxing and comfy. It's something I can feel like I'm a part of.

I guess that's one of the problems with smaller boards. We only have a few namefags and we all participate in memes with our own versions or by saying "Based" to others. It keeps us in high spirits and motivates us to make more.

Yeah, I don't come here that often but I've been visiting this board occasionally since it was created and usually its just garbage but sometimes there has been really good content like your newspapers.
Based. Janny can't ban you so he just filed a ban report which gives you a 14 minute mute. If the mod is in a bad mood he will give you a 3 day ban on all boards for spamming.

Decided to make a monkey putin thread on Jow Forums and got this gem in return before the thread was 404’d. Lasted a good 3 minutes, putinbot must really be on top of things.
I’ve not much else to add though, Jow Forums replaced /mu/ as my home board awhile ago and despite how shit it can be at times I quite like it. I’ll check out Jow Forums too though, it seems fun if you disregard the generals

That’s a good thing about generals, they’re very easy to filter. I remember /brit/ tried to colonise Jow Forums a couple months back but it was an absolute disaster and all they did was reply to each other like it was an instant messenger until Jow Forums rallied and spammed the thread all the way to the bump limit.
