I can't beat your ass without getting closer to you

Hello again daily marisa thread does anyone remember anything from yesterday's daily fantastic thread because I don't haha
if it don't got the red line everything must be fine
okay now THAT'S bullshit
alot is a word
I remember.
I cant remember
that doesn't logically contradict my statement
"alot" always gives me the squiggly red line doesn't it do that to you
I said it was fine if it doesn't have the red line I said nothing about if it does
is "alot" a word?
teachers always say that it's "a lot"
No you don't
Good
Autism
alot is not a word, it has always been a lot
FUCK YOUR TEACHERS IT'S IN THE VERNACULAR ALREADY
FUCKING DENYING ELITISTS NEED TO HOLD ON TO THIS GRAIN OF NONSENSE ALOT IS A FUCKING WORD PEOPLE USE IT AS A WORD IN GRAMMATICALLY CORRECT CONTEXTS YOUR TEACHERS ARE MORONS
Yes I do. I am nega-Alzheimer’s man.
OH SO IT'S TWO WORDS IS IT
WELL THEN HOW COME PEOPLE USE IT AS ONE WORD??????
Over time people started getting used to saying it incorrectly. That's how all languages eventually evolve. That's also applicable to how people say stuff like "me and Jacob" when it's actually "Jacob and I" most of the time
AND HAVE YOU NEVER CONSIDERED THAT IT'S ALSO HOW NEW WORDS
LIKE "TO THE MORROW" TURNING INTO "TOMORROW"
OH BUT I'M SURE THE CORRECT WAY OF SAYING IT IS "TO THE MORROW" TOMORROW ISN'T A FUCKING WORD BECAUSE IT'S ALWAYS BEEN "TO THE MORROW"
NO NO YOU"RE MAKING PERFECT SENSE HERE DENYING STICKLER IF IT'S IN USE IN THE VERNACULAR BUT YOUR MINIMALLY QUALIFIED TEACHER SAYS SO THEN IT'S NOT A WORD
STPP SCEANING NOW!! NOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!1!1!!1!1!!1!!1!!1
i think it's about time you took a trip to the morrow
This is the less popular thread now
THESE ARE THE SAME FUCKING STICKLERS TOO SELF-ABSORBED TO REALIZE IT'S ALREADY A FUCKING WORD
I've already committed to memory to not use "alot" anymore so it's not changing for me anytime soon. Enjoy looking like an ᵢdᵢₒₜ in the meantime
I DON'T USE IT IN ESSAYS EITHER YOU DAFT CUNT BUT I KNOW HOW TO DISTINGUISH BETWEEN WHAT I'M TOLD AND WHAT'S PLAIN AS DAY IN EVERY CONVERSATION I HAVE
ae lote
*d* check st**m
Hmmmm if you don't use it in essays then you must also recognize that it's not grammatically correct. If you truly stood by your views than you would present these arguments in favor of it being an actual word to those who grade said essays. It seems like you know deep down that it's not a word. I wouldn't complain if it were to become a real grammatically correct word buuuuuuut......... it isn't as of the moment
IT'S NOT GRAMMATICALLY CORRECT ACCORDING TO MY FUCKING BLACKED-OUT-WHORE ENGLISH TEACHER WHO LITERALLY CROSS REFERENCES PURDUE.EDU AS SHE WORKS AND GOES BACK TO OBSESSING OVER COCK AS SOON AS SHE'S DONE WITH THE LITTLE SHITS IN HER CLASSROOM
I HOWEVER HAVE AN UNDERSTANDING OF LINGUISTICS AND ETYMOLOGY TENFOLD BETTER THAN HERS JUST FROM A FUCKING HIGHSCHOOL EDUCATION
AND YOU EXPECT ME TO TREAT MY BASIC-AS-SHIT ESSAYS AS INDICATORS OF MY ACTUAL RULES FOR LANGUAGE?
Tei does a warp.
Your teacher sounds like a delightful person but you must understand that not all of them are the same. I had a fantastic English teacher my 8th grade year but the next two were terrible. And I can for certain tell you that ₐₗₗ ₒf ₜₕₑₘ ₘₐᵣₖₑd ₐₗₒₜ ₐₛ ₐ gᵣₐₘₘₐₜᵢcₐₗ ₑᵣᵣₒᵣ on my essays. I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I still do not believe "alot" is a grammatically correct word. It simply is a mistake that caught on that people must learn to fix rather than keep making the same simple mistake.

DID YOU READ A WORD I JUST SAID BOY
FUCKING
GOOGLE THE ETYMOLOGY OF NEXT TO EVERY 4 LETTER WORD IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE, THEY'RE ALL MISTAKES AND REARRANGEMENTS OF OTHER, FORMER WORDS
Then we witness the evolution of a lot into alot.
lol sorry
I was gonna say what said in just waiting for a lot to eventually change to alot. Like I said before, I wouldn't complain but until the higher ups(???) in who decide what is and isn't a word come out about it, it still isn't a word to me. Also I looked up some etymology cause of your comment and loon doesn't really change lol
>I let my education be spoonfed to me
good god boy my heart is exploding STOP
I have no interest in learning etymology I'm sorry. I'd rather a lot over alot even if I did regardless because I've committed it to memory
I want alot to become a word, then there’s less spacing and more laziness. Yay us
I won't be able to look at it the same way
You’ll adapt, everyone adapts.
