But its in short a set of political tactics aimed at securing power such as:
Disrupting or undermining democracy
Scape goats (usually religious or racial) thats causing the problems in said society and need to be purged
Trying to delegitimize the media
And in general trying to convince the politically dominant group feel like victims at the hands of the politically disenfranchised groups (white genocide, jewish conspiracies etc)

I became a goth, best decision I ever made. You think I'm joking. I don't dress goth, but everything else I do is goth/scary/metal/emo. It really pays off. This is an untapped social market.
I just posted something to my Facebook, which is a video of a ghost moving a chair. But then something jumps out and scares you, which is the real point of the video, as a joke. I post that kind of shit like once a year, so that people don't realize I'm going to scare them again.
That's the key. Being goth without dressing goth. People really don't know what the fuck you're about and you can be aloof as you want.

Btw, girls find it cool, boys find it cool, old people are cool with it. Goth music ( metal, celtic music etc ) is the best music. Goth fashion, if I did wear it, is pretty awesome. Night time is awesome. In general, rain, snow, melancholia is awesome.
Overall, I recommend everyone to become goth. Whether you wear the fashion or not is up to you. I've been goth my whole life. I will never change.

That's cool. I am a bit of a goth though too, it really helps with my depression. I embrace my dark side, I love everything that everybody else finds miserable. The dark nights in Autumn, the wind, thunder, it's amazing. I love horror movies, goth industrial music, I even love the colour of blood. This may scare people irl but I'm really chilled and easy going. I dress pretty normal, the only thing that gives away my dark side are my tattoos. I've got two morbid looking ones on my arms, and a Marilyn Manson one on my chest and planning to get more.
Why don't you wear the fashion? Is it because you don't wanna draw too much attention to yourself?
