Ok so i found a baby bird outside crawling on the side walk
I took him home and gave him a little bath
He doesnt seem interested in bread or wet cat food and he doesnt drink
Should i just let him rest?
Also he keeps crawling out of his box and only really want to be in my hand

welp he/she is gonna probably die desu

You have to puke into its mouth.

There must be something i can do?
If not ill guess ill just make sure hes comfortable in his last moments...

its parents will smell human on it and leave it behind. maybe even kill it. tho u could make it a pet. give it water and food. i dont know much about birds but after a while im sure its gonna develop stockholm syndrome for you and be dependent like a dog/cat or sumthing

This
Feels bad man.

If he doesn't fly around he's already dead.

well if she would take to the effort of taking care of it for a long time im sure it could do good. but what if hanner is gonna go to work? or do something important? your only giving yourself a burden. maybe you should just kill it right there and now.

Bread is bad for birds, give him seeds.

Hes prematurely out of the nest
He still has his baby feathers

>cat food

Of course the disgusting tranny keeps disgusting cats as pets

Time to put it out of its misery

cuute birb!!!!! pls take care of it and make a thread about him/her every once in a while pls

Feed it your cat. It probably wants fresh meat, not nasty cat food thats mostly made of corn.

Bring it to the animal care centre if you're worried.

Also don't let your cat near it.
My cat has killed 2 birds this week.

Oh yeah.

The bird thinks you're her mother.

IMPORTANT!!!!!! i suggest we have hanner breastfeed the birb

I think you need to syringe feed it... maybe babyfood?
not sure they can eat solid food so young
maybe best idea take it to bird center

I had to put birb in a deeper box when i went out to buy food for him
He just wouldnt spot crawling out of the other box

You're doing the right / nice thing. Only problem? If they're bought up by a human they have no parents to show them risk. I know this because years ago I had a pet blackbird for about 9 months. We released it into the wild once it could fly, went up in the trees, mixed with other blackbirds everything looked fine. It was our partytrick because it would fly down from the trees and land on our heads in front of guests. A few days later? Cat got it. Like a dodo it didn't recognise the cat as a danger.

what are you planning on doing with him?

That's good.

I guess I just overreacted.

that's a urban myth.

this is not actually true. its just something parents tell their children to keep them in order

no I think its true in some cases with some animals

unless you can provide hard evidence I remain unconvinced.

everyone who thinks im wrong will be stepped on no exception

I'm waiting.

Get toothpick, put food on toothpick, ram it down it's throat while holding it's head back.
I've seen this done on a video and it seems to work.
Best of luck, OP!

*steps on you*
gross and pathetic. you filthy mongrol

And be sure to dip the bread in water. That way you'll keep it fairly hydrated.

Well first things first, is it an insect eater? What it can eat will be heavily dependent upon that fact

Baby birds love nothing more than a thick, grilled steak. Make sure to cut the steak into little pieces and dunk them in A1 sauce.

i'm waiting patiently for an update

If it ever comes in to contact with its mother it will be rejected because it doesn't smell like a bird. If you ever release it you are killing it.

It's gonna die unless you provide the right nutrients

Important thread

That is not even remotely true and you should stop spreading misinformation

if the bird is very dying add sugar to the water, but it doesn't look too bad

also, maybe it never ate solid food before

Yeah I'd like to see some supporting evidence for this. The commonly cited things like birds and bunnies abandoning their children after human contact is without merit.

this

it's real and fake
they can leave their children if they think the smell is from a disease

I think it is true that a bee will get killed if it loses its sent

scientificamerican.com/article/fact-or-fiction-birds-abandon-young-at-human-touch/
This says that it is false

turn it over to the authorities before you start doing gay shit to it you faggot

Whats the name of the bird going to be?

youtube.com/watch?v=rFv7mHTf0nA

I never said it specifically applied to birds.
I said it is the case with "some animals".
I believe it is the case with some felines (cats) where they will reject and even kill kittens if their scent is off and perhaps some other animals also though I obviously wouldn't be aware of which specific ones as I am not some sort of expert on such matters.

The jew fears the indoor bird saver.
You're doing God's work user good job.
