Nope, Alice is English and Karen is half-English half-Nipponese. I am not sure about Shino actually, don't remember clearly enough. Aya and Yoko are pure japs though, that I know for sure.

Well, My Hero Academia/Pokemon and Kiniro Mosaic are two very, very different things. Kinmoza is a total moeblob, a feel-good show about some cute girls doing cute things. I'd say try, it's not like you have to watch everything anime because you've seen one cgdct show. It's like saying you have to watch every movie there is just because you've seen Home Alone that one time on Christmas.
Since you like the esthetics already, I presume, you shouldn't have much difficulty getting into it. Well, perhaps some, but it's worth it, man, I tell you.
