I have a RK 92S sporting rifle. It has an over the counter Ase-Utra suppressor continuously attached to it.
It has an Aimpoint red dot from early 90s (Nordic hunting model, fast moving target acquisition), wide field yet good enough to pick up a standing target up to 300 meters with Lapua factory ammunition.
I like Lapua Naturalis rounds when going for a white tail or forest deer in my neighborhood. From 30 to 50 meters I can do a genuine neck artery piercing shot with my setup.

It probably is.

Here in Finland you can buy the rifle (a good one) with maybe 1200 to 2000 euros. Aimpoint hunting red dot is about 400 to 700 euros regarding your needs (low light options will cost more always ofc). A custom made scope rig with matching rings for Aimpoint (made by gunsmith) was 300 euros.

Ase-Utra suppressor (SL5 borelock) fitting for my RK was about 600 euros with the suppressor and gunsmith fees.

My rifle is easily about 3500 Euros worth. Priceless when taking it out in the night and starting stalking for a nice game for the dawn.

I actually recommend you to think about a custom AR 15 in 6.5 Grendel. With a matching scope for your needs.
I genuinely recommend a broad field scope with true low light properties, if you are a hunter.

It will be expensive, however you Will like your rifle.

If your dad is pro-fun rights, but still doesn't think you're responsible enough for a gun, I'd trust him.
