You can go to any medium sized city with a large white population and find it is filled with health food stores like whole foods and then at the major food markets they always have a large supply of organic foods. people also prefer more healthy and natural alternatives to fast food, which is considered overpriced and unhealthy.
The american food culture has changed drastically over the past 15 or 20 years. What you see with these flashy gimmicks is just an attempt by these failing corporations to get the attention of consumers who would be better off cooking their own dinner than buying some dirty unhealthy overpriced garbage fast food.
