Same here. It's fairly hot in humid in Virginia and also my day off so a storm would make things cool and comfy. It's pretty windy for 13:40 so we might get one too

It was nice and rainy yesterday, i really wish we had more days like that.

A thunderstorm at night is the most mesmerizing thing on this planet.

I remember walking home very drunk during a blizzard once, it was not my most bright idea.

that sounds fun. i really like running with minimal clothing on during winter and snowstorms because its exciting since i have to keep moving to not freeze

It sure was an experience i won't forget, my old mans face was unforgettable especially when he saw me burst through the door covered in snow and mumbling.

Have you had any nice storms in Norway recently?

We had a full sponge squeeze here at West Coast last Friday between 14.25 and 14.45. We have a component warehouse here. Our parking yard from the warehouse to the connecting road is about 20 meters. We weren't able to see the road and anything beyond it at all for tens of seconds for at least five times during that very period of rain. We had a flash flood of at least ten centimeters of water on our parking lot after that shower.
I've seen something like that happening years ago at Eastern Japan during typhoon season.
>they had that there for several days in a row though

A few, but really short.

Exactly, not to mention getting a bit wet sometimes is a very nice feeling.

One of our workers wanted to leave. He took one these large umbrellas we have (almost a square meter of coverage) and entered in the rain when it again started to pour.

The umbrella canvas is treated with hydrophobic chemicals and holds water only up to that. Beyond that, it's just a light weight porous canvas material.

The overwhelming force of pour literally forced it's way through the canvas and created like a visible cloud of wet fog around the dude under it. He got totally soaked during those 15 meters to his car regardless of the umbrella.

Poor guy!

He drove back to his home, slowly and safely. :DDD
