I prefer POSTUMS

I am afraid I have no recollection of a drink with such a name. Is it a kind of tea?

It’s food coffee

Excuse me, but what the hell does 'food coffee' convey, as in, what is the actual product? Is it a drink or a snack?

I still need to get some mint seeds so I can make some mint tea

I admire the dedication, but I hope you're aware you can buy it in packets in a normal shop. I guess if you really want to, it does taste good enough to be worth the trouble, but I dunno if I would be patient enough.

I know but I would like to grow a plant, it might be fun.

Ah, if that's the case go for it. I'm not any expert on gardening, but I don't think mint is hard at all to grow, I mean, I didn't kill it, so it's a good starting point actually. And if you like mint in any way as much as I do, the payoff is great.
I'll have to think about it too, actually.

To my knowledge it’s just coffee made from wheat as opposed to coffee beans

Isn't it just grain coffee then? We used to have that, if a kiddo wanted coffee they'd get this instead. Never been a fan.

do you add cream and sugar to your mint tea? all teas taste more or less the same without it

Never, I drink all my tea black. I used to do sugar, but that was when I was a mere child. Although, seriously, how can you say all teas taste the same without it? I have to state exactly the opposite, all teas lose their unique flavours when you add sugar, cream or basically anything else to them. The biterness might be overwhelming at first I guess, but that's something you get used to.

sip sip'ing my fourth cup in a row
this can't be good for me, can it?

mint tea with green is better

Oh, you're just not used to bitterness, I presume. I really recommend choosing a tea you like, mint is good since it's a bit lighter than your usual black tea and it's harder to overbrew it, and gradually lessen the ammount of sugar you put in. Tinny tiny steps, like one fifth of a teaspoon every couple of times is good enough, though make them a bit bigger if you're comfortable with it. This way you will slowly get your tastebuds to tolerate the bitterness and you'll be able to experience the flavour hidden deep beneath all that. Mint tea actually tastes good with and without sugar, though I still prefer not adding any, but with actual tea, I really do consider sugar the killer of taste. Try it, if you're drinking tea regularly, why not?
I don't really drink coffee, not because I dislike the taste of it, but because of how many people are addicted to it, the whole 'I cannot start my day without my coffee' attitude. So I guess purely to be contrarian. I really wouldn't know if I like the taste, the last time I tried had to be like a decade ago.

Is it really? Because my body is slowly beggining to nudge at cooling it down a little being a good idea, I think.

ignore your body and keep going
drink it until you get minty super powers

I don't think there are any powers to be gained, sadly.
