There's a chance BTC bounces big in the next weeks, I'm even considering 12k, because everybody is bearish right now. In situations like this everyone goes short 100x and sells their last BTC. Guess what happens then? They will FOMO back in at 12k, where I short. Classic buy high, sell low.

Sounds good. Bear markets take longer than people expect and often there are huge bull traps (100% increases from the low) where shorts are going to get JUST'd pretty hard.
See what happened in 2014. If thins repeat exactly like in 2014, we'll see a dump to 5k, rally to 9k (in a few days after the deathcross) and another bull trap to 12k. Things are pretty risky.
